Yes, once you supplement the mineral goes up in testing quickly.

Potassium is subject to false elevations, if the sample is not taken properly or the red cells burst before the reading is taken (this dumps alot of intracellular potassium into the serum). This is called a factitious high. Should be repeated before being relied upon.

Default magnesium testing

I'm curious about your testing, and how valid the results are.
From what I've read, it is a difficult one to test for as most of it is in the cells, not the blood.
A urine test may indicate a deficiency if you are tested first, then give a dose of magnesium, and then tested next day to gauge how much is being excreted.
If only a small amount, that implies you are deficient.
Is this what was done?
Then again, almost everyone is deficient.

Magnesium oil has been the stand-out treatment for me, finally curing me of my 25+ years of severe muscle problems.

Concentrated magnesium chloride in liquid form is available to apply to the body. Because it is a "thick" liquid from all the magnesium in it, it seems like an oil, but is really not.

Most of them here in the States, are expensive. It is just another way to get magnesium. I believe I have seen Peter post that he takes it orally besides.

There are many ways to get magnesium... this "oil" taken orally seems like it might be more laxative than other methods.
But some people don't get the laxative effects much, so it works for them.

just a warning to everyone who takes magnesium, i think potassium and magnesium like to play off of each other. my nerve sx are improving but now i feel very uneasy and my heart is racing.
