Default I have a question about epsom salts

I know this product is magnesium sulfate. And I know that soaking one's feet in it gets the magnesium into the body.

But can the same results happen if one, instead of soaking the feet, instead takes a bowl, adds some epsom salts, and places a hand in it.

This is just a question posed out of curiosity. The majority of people soak their feet in this product.

But what if one doesn't want to carry a basin over to where they are sitting and instead thinks it's simpler to place a bowl of water with some epsom salts on a counter, and places a hand in it for approximately 10 minutes or so (let's say while one is watching tv ).

Would the body get the same results as if one soaked their feet in it?

Just curious.

thanks much

Melody
