I just got back a detailed vitamin/amino acid analysis I had done a month ago! Reading the report I noticed EPA, DPA and DHA on the omega three side are all perfectly normal (and in fact high normal) while a-linolenic acid is so low they've got it down as undetectable. On the omega six side of things γ-linolenic, DGLA, AA, DTA and eicosadienoic acids are all normal while Linoleic acid is really low. Could this be indicative of a conversion issue or do I need to eat more nuts etc or...? I
Hope this finds everyone well! Ziggy |

I think when you eat the basic ones...
alpha linolenic acid (omega-3) linoleic acid (omega-6) They get used up quickly. Since the compounds that arise from them are normal? you must be eating/consuming enough. Since Omega-6 are plentiful in the diet and Omega-3 are not, you might consume a bit more Omega-3 just as insurance. i.e. flax oil or flax cereal, etc.
