Default Can the Epsom salt lotion be used on the hole body just like a regular body lotion ?

I've tried the lotion on my neck pain didn't help, but the last few days I have some new pain all over, so I was thinking could I use epsom salt lotion on large surfaces ( like my arms and legs ) at the same time ?
( I found some older post in the meantime about this, the answer is, not to use it like the regular lotion ).
