Hi daniella,

It was praise that you much deserve. You sound as if you've learned a lot from what you went through. Not everyone does that. So, well done!

I'm glad you don't find me off putting because I've been so heavy and still have a lot to lose. Whew!

((((((((daniella)))))))))

I'm smiling, thinking about you.

Considerthis, one of my close friends ip was an overeater and had way more then 100 to loose. ANyhow we shared a common bond in that we used food in a destructive way. I think many outsiders don't realise that in some overweight people that its not about the food but the reasons behind. I still sometimes go to OA have you ever been? It was weird in the start for me especially when I was so underweight but really its such a welcoming community and really you learn your not alone and how to cope for a better life. I do feel nutrition and health is the start to a better life and goals. I hope you keep working toward your goal for health. Look in colors there is no good or bad food. Everything in moderation and that goes for other life things too.

Hi daniella,

((((((((daniella)))))))))

Thank you!

I can't drive yet, and it costs me over $60 to hire someone to take me places because it's a three hour minimum.

Right now I have to somehow make it to February so I can refinance, up until then it's going to be a big challenge to make it that far on the little I have left.

Yes... food can be a lot of different things to people. I used to use it for a sleeping "potion" -- I'd have a lot of oatmeal or .. I forget what other things I used at night, to make my stomach so busy it overpowered my mind and let me go to sleep.

But my main problem was being bed bound and not being able to move very much.

It used to take me three or four steps to cross one single Saltillo tile which is a foot square. I just could not move. And walking to the kitchen stressed my muscles and they contracted and bent me over...

When I was able to walk in a circle around my garden, just that minimal amount of movement changed my body's metabolism and I began to lose a couple pounds a week, even eating the exact same things, to include desserts. (My food is still brought to me 5 days a week. Only now I don't take the desserts or soup. It was just too much food. But when I was sick I was desperately hungry, so I think that must have been from the way the disease contracts all the muscles...)

You are such a sweetie!

Thank you so much for writing. It was nice to wake up to a friendly post.

How are you doing? You sound up and happy, but sometimes people choose a tone that they aren't actually feeling.

How are you?

Are you doing anything fun this weekend? I'd love to hear!

Thanks your so sweet. I'm not very happy. I feel all over the place in my mood. This issue has been so confusing to me. My pain and how I feel whether the legs or dizzy out of it ranges so much. I feel I live in fear. Trying to take one day at a time and work on my coping mechanisms, what I can do that I couldn't before, and stick to my eating disorder recovery. Hopefully the rest will fall in place. I have always been even in the past helped others with there issues through depression etc but for me its hard to apply so I'm working on using the tools I have learned.Thank you. How are you?
