Is that magnesium better then the slowmag? Cause I take calcium 600 with vitamin d already cause I have osteoporosis too. The b complex I bought is nature made super b complex with vitamin c is this good? The pharmacist I talked to when I was asking about 2 kinds said I didn't need it cause I will just pee it out cause I was asking if with my womens multi if it would be too much. I'm hoping my pain doc though I know they are not big on supp will direct me better on Tues.Rose could my levels of 1500-2000 be but that my body isn't using it in a right way. Is there anything that could of thrown those tests off other then if I had taken a supplement before? I feel this can't be right but I had it checked a few times.

Hadn't we established that you had taken B12 supplements before the test? If you had built stores up very strong, and then stopped taking B12 altogether for days or weeks, you could still test very high. It would likely indicate that you store very well, and that is a good thing. A person who stores very well would still test quite high after months of taking in no B12.
What would lead you to believe that you're not using it properly? Maybe I've missed something you have said. rose

No. See I had started b complex and my reading was 2000 then from this forum I added the b12 and my levels went down to 1500. Then I stopped all together cause the cleveland clinic said so. I had it tested again and it was 1500 with no supplement. That is why I feel something is weird. So I was just wondering about the complex and if this was the right one for me and if it be too much of other vitamins that you can get too much of with a womens multi. I also can't find that slowmag is that the name?

Hi Daniella,
I just picked up some slowmag at my local CVS. I usually get it at Walgreens but they were out. Here is a link to the product http://www.slow-mag.com/ |

Daniella,
It seems to me that when we discussed this before we discovered that it was the time that did or did not elapse between supplementation and tests. A few days without B12 before the test can make a great difference, because if there is not a few days without any B12 before the test, extra B12 that is not sticking with you will be measured as well. Of course there are other possible factors too: for instance, certain things in the diet can be measured as B12 when actually they provide no usable B12. But that is less likely to be the case, because you would have had to change your diet drastically and abruptly. If you do not malabsorb severely you absorb plenty from a B complex or even many multivitamins to get your level up very high (which is fine). That does not mean that you were not deficient or that you won't be again eventually if you stop B12 for a VERY long time. Apparently you store well, which is a good thing. The only problem is too little B12, not too much. rose

I just read the slow mag ingrediants... they would NOT absorb easily as there have non natural ingrediants ...
Rule of thumb DONT buy supplements at the grocery or drug store ... health food stores have ones made from WHOLE foods or naturally derived for easy abosorbstion http://www.slow-mag.com/html/product...magtablets.pdf |
