I guess I am the odd one out. Why would you want to drink any of the energy drinks? As a rule, they give you an immediate high, which crashes in a short time. That's the glamour in it for the energy drink industry. People keep buying it cause they love the high, and can't deal with the crash, so they drink more and more.

I gave up coffee with caffeine for my health, and to be honest, I do not feel any different without the caffeine than I did with it. I haven't had soda for well over 5 years, and I used to be a Mountain Dew addict...after my coffee, I drank Mountain Dew all day.

Besides that, the energy drinks are usually high in calories. At first I thought you were talking about a different type of energy drinks until I saw "monster" mentioned.

I guess I just do not get it!

i dont believe there's anything wrong with caffeine itself, i don't drink drinks with a lot of sugar in them anyways, i just need to focus sometimes, and caffeine is good for that(without a prescription) i def dont drink high calorie beverages, i try to abstain from them. i drink monster lo carb which only has like 10-20 calories per can. i dont think these beverages are that stimulating, if u have one or two in the morning its not gonna affect u at like 12 o clock that nite.

Depends on the individual I guess. They sure can exacerbate tics in people with tics.

Isn't that something! For many, caffeine creates the opposite problem. Now that I am caffeine, which I do believe is much better for us, if I get caffeine, I can't concentrate, I get shaky, and my mind wanders. To each, there own. We are all individuals, that's for sure.

sure i mean i used to be afraid of caffeine, until i read this packet about panic attacks. and now that im not afraid of panic attacks occuring, i can drink anything, and not be afraid of going crazy, not afraid of that tightness in my chest, i can drink cofeee and not be afraid, altho too much is not good, coffee does hav too much caffeine for me 120 mg. but a redbull every now and then doesnt hurt.
