Had salmon and a small green salad for lunch. Am a little worried about meeting friends tonight at a Mexican restaurant...hope there's a small steak on the menu...

there will be steak fahitas! you can just eat them with out the tortilla.
the tortilla soups are usually just veggie soup, just ask to hold the tortillas! good luck have fun! bizi who is still following her diet and exercising 3xweek

In my quest to eat healthier (more veggies, fruits and whole grains) I discovered this neat website. http://www.localharvest.org/csa/. It encourages people to buy locally grown produce. I signed up for the waiting list in my area as all the spots were filled for the 2010 season. I think the cost works out to be about $25 a week and you get a box of seasonal fruits and veggies each week. They also have eggs and some whole grain bread products, too.

That's a great site Kitty, thank you. I've bookmarked it as there is one quite near us that I'm very interested in trying. Living out in the countryside we do have access to roadside stands and have favorites (Vites Farm for corn and melons) however the idea of a small basket of fresh in season fruit coming to our door really is appealing!
Dinner last night was 1 pork chop, mashed cauliflower, a wedge of lettuce with blue cheese and cooked carrotts. Keep up the good work everybody.

Not having access to a computer when ever I want is very frustrating.
I wish everyone good luck on their diets!!!!! ...had a subway lunch flat bread with ham and turkey and pepper jack cheese and lots of veggies very filling! This morning: 12 oz of fat free organic milk which I LOVE!!!!!!! veggie water so am doing good today so far....  bizi turkey cutlet, fresh brocolli and a salad for dinner I think....

I haven't been too hungry today. I've had 1 carton of Activia, 2 cups coffee w/splenda, 1 Lean Pocket (Ham & cheese) and probably at least 48 ounces of water. I will probably have an apple later because I have to go grocery shopping tonight so I don't want to be hungry!

Met sister for lunch ...had Pollock...lots of it!
and a bad house salad, and steamed veggies. Mower started so the grass is cut. Haven't decided about dinner yet. Kitty I hate to shop when hungry..costs me a small fortune. Biz, hope you get your puter back soon.
