Default Sulky Sunday

Well its Sunday and that is all I can say about that. Sad isn't it?
My rosacea is all messed up, my back is killing me and I'm in a pain flare because of it. Exercise is out and all I can do is watch TV. Its times like these that make my feel dumpy.
That is when the eating begins!
I really am trying to get this whole diet thing back on track but I just can't seem to. I think that I am going into a depressive state with my bipolar but I am not sure. I still don't quite understand the illness yet and I am still learning.

So here I am sulking and waiting to go back to bed to watch a movie. Todd is still sleeping so I am able to be on the computer for a little while.
I hope everybody's day will be better than mine is going so far.

Heart Blessed Sunday~

Sorry, to here you aren't feeling to good Wendy. I feel great. It is cold outside, but warm in my heart. I think they said the Chill Factor is zero this morning. I have been out to the farm and now getting ready for church. I weighed last night and I haven't lost anymore either, but my sugar count is way down. It was 73 when I got up. I have to have a A1c in Feb., so I want my over all count to be low, for it goes back 3 months.

If your well go out and make it a good day! Talk to you later.
Hugs,
BC

Good morning, slow day here so far. I kinda overdid it yesterday in the yard but I was feeling so good and the weather was great. I have a headache/neckache now but I am going to ice it down and hopefully the day won't be lost.

Trying to eat healthy and the pizza is all gone so things should be better now. I have been making smoothies with frozenfruit and adding flax seed to them for a morning meal. I am not much of a breakfast person and know I should eat something so I thought I would try this.

Well I should get busy and get these kids moving. Teenagers can sleep through anything I remember when I used to be so quiet when my son was little so I could have a hour of peace, now he will sleep till noon if I let him...Sue

Wendy, my face is a mess too, with my bumps that I have had since I was 13..I am using Proactive on mine, at my age it makes my face so dry it peels. If I use it daily the bumps are going away slowly ...yet can only use it once due to the dry skin. Like you I can't exercise, even yoga got me into a huge painflare. YUP, you're right about the eating cause I do the same thing, pain or feeling dumpy gives me a great reason to eat. Have just recently started taking my cymbalta 2 x's a day instead of 1. I like the cymbalta better than anything I have ever taken for depression.
Today am trying ever so hard (again) to start a good eating plan. Must be the 4000000 time I have tried...usually fail. Got to make it this time, too look nicer when I visit Billie in June.
Hope you and I both can get ourselves back on the right track.

Billie, how in the world do you get out & going so early in the morning. You are so smart and so productive. Me I think I am lazy....wellllllll.....I kinda know I am lazy hee, hee.

Sue, Just found some frozen fruitin my frig. Think I'll start back on nice frozen milkshakes, ummmmm good and legal too! Fruit, skim mild, vanilla, diet sugar.

Jan, where are you, do you still feel horrible. I hope you are getting much better.

Default It's a Superb Sunday for me.

Good afternoon all,

Well, my pain flare is finally over. Billie, Jan, Sue: thanks for the nice words of encouragement as my tootsie's started a fire that burned all the way to my knees. I think that words of encouragement really help those on a diet and those who are in pain. Thanks again and if I forgot anyone, thanks to you as well.

On that note, Wendy, you have so many illnesses to deal with. Do you see a therapist for your bipolar? Maybe a group therapy setting could help you learn more about it. Groups can be very interesting , but helpful as well. I know nothing about rosacea so I can't comment on that.

One sad thing: A college friend of my hubby's died at age 61. He was a teacher and football coach with 4 grown children. He had a heart attack at his desk and the basketball coach found him. Luckily no students had come into his office.

Well, I have a couple of outside chores and it's about 70 degrees so I'm outa here.

Take care,
nancyh
