Heart Faithful Monday~

Hi everyone. Froggie is having a bad time with the jerking issue. I am asking all of you who pray or have positive thoughts keep her in mind today. She needs a restful day, as I think she was up most of the night. Froggie please call a Dr. today and talk to someone for this. It is not normal to be like this and you know it! The sooner the better! You can not travel like this.

I hope the rest of you are ok. I have this woman with me to take to the hospilal for test today. I hope it brings out her trouble also. Well I got to go &
give her medicine again. will talk later. I hope all have a good day!

Morning Billie and everyone!
Feeling very fatigued today. I walked yesterday but I think I overdid it and today I am paying for it. Mentally I am not tired at all, I had a good night's sleep. But my body is weighing me down. I have an appointment today so I have to suck it up for a little while. I was going to do laundry but that just isn't going to happen today, tomorrow I hope.
I have had a very bad week on the "D" but I hope to get back on the wagon starting yesterday and stay on.
Hope everyone's is doing well on their "D".
Well I gotta get going. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone, I did pretty good with the Easter eating. I took lots of fruit to the BBQ so I snacked on that instead of eating every deviled egg in sight. I had a couple of eggs though--couldn't resist but then walked away from them. Then yesterday I got the kids a little candy, movies and pool floats so there is not alot of candy in the house, plus if it is the kids I can stay out of it.

I did go swimming several times this weekend and did some of the water arobics that I used to do at the gym. I also walked on the treadmill some but mostly water walking.

Billie-hopefully your friend will get some help today. It really is unfortunate that her kids won't step up to the plate. Be careful about overdoing it yourself ok.

Wendy- sorry your still having pain. Hopefully the weather will change soon and that may help you.

Anne--please call the doc and let them know what is going on with you. I really think you have something in your cervical area wrong with the dizziness and nausea you are having. I went through that for a very long time and it is so scary. Feel better and yes I will pray for you.

Well the kids and hubby are gone and it is very peaceful around here. I am going to pick up and get laundry started. Have a great and light day...Sue

Froggie here for a quick hello again and to say thank you so much...I am in need of prayer badly right now.
I did call a doc I used to go to years ago and he is a good one. They gave me an appointment tomorrow at 8:30. Also going to see about going to the neuro about my neck. I am having cervical vertigo and the jerking is the same as before the surgery that repaired me an kept me from a wheelchair, wearing diapers and someone feeding me. I had only 2 choices chair or surgery then....now????The pain is increasing and my heart will not quit pounding if I get the least bit anixious. I totally quit the cymbalta too...cold turkey. I can't take all this stuff and the doc is an alternative doc I am going to see. regular primary along with homepathic. He helped me once before and I am praying he can do it again.

Got to run...hugs, Wendy, Sue, Billie and anyone else that comes in today.

Heart Froggie~

I hope this Doc can help you. I am praying everytime I think of you. I would like to call, but afraid your not up to it. I have had some strange things happen today. I was asking for it really. This Dr. is wanting me to run Patty someplace else now. I just got to get out of this. The family has to step up and help. I could scream! They never even told me where to take her. I don't even know what they found out on these test today. It has to end for me someplace. They should get her church to run for her.

When you go tomorrow if your able, let me know what happens.
Love you, sis

Hi Billie, that is what I did with the lady down the street. Everytime someone from her church showed up when I was there I told them she needs help. Well I guess I told enough people so they finally stepped up to the plate. She was a different religion than I and I was sure tired of hearing how great her religion was and here i was doing everything for her. So speak up and let them know somehow. You are a very nice person to do for her but there comes a point when you just have to step back no matter how bad it makes you feel.

Anne, did you quit the cymbalta under dr's orders? I am not sure but I don't think you are supposed to just stop that type of medicine suddenly without tapering off. Maybe you should post under medications, I am sure someone there can tell you for sure. ...Sue

cymbalta withdrawl

well it's been about 3 months since i decided to come off cymbalta. it took me a month and a half to taper down the dosage to nothing, and the month following was ABSOLUTE HELL. i thought i had MS. i have had 2 MRIs (one for my brain, one for my spine), numerous blood tests, doctor visits, etc. i've missed probably a total of 2 weeks of work, have had to take 2 incompletes for courses i'm taking.
if you are coming off cymbalta and feel like you're dying, you're NOT CRAZY. this withdrawl is horrible and i'm only now starting to feel like i'm doing better, little by little.
hang in there. and don't let anyone tell you it's all in your head.

Thanks yall, I did taper for a while but then I realized I had to quit all the way so cold turley now. It was making me sick and I was only on 30mgs. Was already so sick and having had the blackout before I went off. I think I quit it a few nights ago. Ha, can't remember much lately but get better a little each day to a point. I am now just taking the ambien at night only last night it didn't work cause I drank the water and forgot to pick up the pill.
I did better this afternoon cause I just sat all day and the jerks haven't happened for a couple of hours. Hopefully the Ambien will take me through the night until I go to my appointment at 8 tomorrow. I need to get back to a neuro and have him check my neck it is hurting and in a mess right now.
Thanks, forum Family, Anne

Arrow Wanting to quit the Cymbalta too~

I am wanting to quit it too, because I think I take to much meds. I am on 6. I can't tell the Cymbalta is doing me any good. I am on it for P. neropathy. I don't want to feel like I'm dying tho. I am running out of it now. I have a new scrip. for it, but my DR. never put me on it in the first place. I have diabetes & that is why I was put on it. I quit going to him a year ago because every time I went he changed my meds, no matter how many I had left. He cost me a bundle. I have never been sorry I quit him.
