Morning all! How was your holiday weekend?
Have tons to do around the apartment today but beyond that just trying to keep my sunburn from hurting. Luckily I am used to pain.
Todd is finally going back to work so I will be able to get things done around here. Does anyone else have problems getting chores done with your significant other hanging around? Todd just gets in the way when I do things so I wait until he's gone to vaccum and stuff.

We had dinner guests over yesterday...cooked a huge pot of gumbo, tons left over...I have worried and fused over them coming over...they have hosted our get togethers and we felt it was way over due on our part to having them over. I worried and worried about them. cleaning, fussing I made myself a wreck....lost sleep worring...these are our good friends!
Saturday the toilet broke and after much work (renting an auger, testing the line with the water hose, removing the toilet and placing it outdoors on some blocks then filling it up to flush it outside,) on my hubby's part he figured out that the toilet itself was broken so off we went to home depot to buy a new one....it took all day but we saved not having to call a plumber.
I was really proud of him.

Wendy, wishing your sunburn to get better and leave a nice tan. I too do not like to clean with a man in the house.

Bizi, I am glad to hear that things turned out for you, with the Gumbo and the plumbing.

Hi Everyone...hope your day is great!!!

The day has went nice considering I had a headache. Mark got my new batteries for the golf cart and its charging. I did get to drive it and its nice. Tomorrow I can go anyplace on the charge. I want to take Bear for a ride if he will sit on it. I haven't even showed it to him yet. It will really be nice at night when its cool. No noice either.

Gaye must be sick. I tried to call her and had to leave a message. I wish she could get to feeling better. It's only 8 more days till she starts up here. Keep her in prayer, as I know most of the time she isn't well. She said if possible, she would come sick. I do think no more than she gets out, it would be good to get away from home. It may mean not much shopping, but I don't care. I just want to meet her, and she feels the same way. We've probably known each other about 3 years and never met. Its just awful, she has had to wait so long, to see the right doctor. Some days she is just ready to climb the walls. I have a ortho appointment the next day after she goes home. I would gladly give her my appointment. ( It's not that simple tho!)

Hello everyone, I am starting to recuperate from my BBQ. I sure pay when I have fun. I was up till 3 am with the worst arm pains I have ever had. Finally starting to feel better but boy it was a tough one.

Nancy--where are you girl. Is it hot enough yet??? Holy smokes its not even June yet. Saw on the news that our first 100 degree day was in the beginning of May last year and this year it will be this week. So do ya think it made it feel any cooler...yeah thats what I said ...Sue
