I thought I was going to have compamy today and go out for dinner, but my cousin is sick. We will plan next week if all goes well.
I am still doing Fall cleaning , so that is my job for today. So hows everyone else doing? My back is giving me fits, but I am refusing to give into it. Thats how I got by last year and I am going to try it this year too. Its cool this morning, but suppose to warm up next week. I am wanting my light jackets & sweatshirts out, so today I am going to get to them. Have a good day today! Eat veggies and stay strong. _____ BC

Hi billie,
can't believe it is starting to cool already for you guys. WE are having rain and more rain from the hurrrican humberto...which developed at 1am...as a surprise development. Many areas are under flood warnings...this storm is curious because they are not for certain where he will end up, one model says it could go back to the gulf???? bizi

ITs been cool here today too. I'm trying to be a good girl and eat more
salt as I've been instructed by my doctor. That is not a easy task. Because I don't like salt. But I'm doing the best I can, the other part of the requirement is to drink, drink and drink now that i'm having no problem with. I was already doing that. So I just keep working away on that. I am working to make sure I stick to the diet, not losing any weight, but trying my best to not gain much. dOnna |

Can someone explain to me what this roll call is all about? I see it's supposed to be about weight loss, but what do you check in with? Have you set goals somewhere else on the thread?
I am struggling with my weight and I DO MEAN struggling. I have MS and have also had back surgeries...it's complicated but I really want to get control of this. Thanks, Karen |

olives, almonds, sunflower seeds, soy nuts are all salty and good to snack on when you are hungry for a snack. v8 juice is very salty too.
I jsut thought of chicken broth.... what is making you low sodium? Hypokalemia? bizi

Hi writerkaren. Sorry no one saw your post.. It's a friendly group here and always wanting more members.
Roll call is just a way of starting the day and seeing what everyone is doing. It's a weight loss group but a great fun one too. Hope you will stay. froggie |

We're kind of a mini social forum too - we try to encourage each other in our weight loss journey, but we also just visit and stuff.

Welcome Karen~ I must of somehow missed your posting. I sometimes come in earily and don't get back on for the day. Today I worked and was late getting home.
Roll call is just letting everyone know you are posting and hopefully can come in and give us a tip or let us know if you aren't feeling well for the day. We kinda look out for each other. We all struggle with our weight at times. Sorry to hear about you having MS and back problems. I have had 7 back surgeries myself. I deal with arthritis because of thus. Just come in and tell us about yourself and how much you would like to loose. I only like to look at loosing 10 to 20 pounds at a time myself. It is so hard! We do encourage each other over loosing any amount. ___ Fancylady

Hi Karen
In my case I'm having trouble losing weight because of my health issues. So right now I'm just really trying to eat a very healthy diet. And to drink per my doctor water, water, water. And get in lots of extra salt, Yes I'm sorry ladies I forgot to tell you its a doctor's requirement. So until the time my body agrees I can lose weight I'm trying to eat healthy and follow doctor's orders. Donna |
