Default Thursday Roll Call

Day one of the diet........

I had a three egg feta/spinich omlette for breakfast...no bread, no bacon.
Eggs are so filling that I'll be eating a lot of them...guilt free as my recent cholesterol count was "enviable" according to my dr.

Santa did not bring me a scale...probably an act of kindness.

i'm getting on your diet wagon alffe. my measure cups were out from all the baking...lol...so they are staying out to measue what i eat.

1 cup of decaf
1 cup oatmeal with 2 T raisins & 1/4 skim milk.

8 oz of water

I'm going to try to get on the "wagon" myself. Reading my "South Beach" book to get in the mood! Got to do something to relieve the pain in my body and my looks. Saw myself in the mirror in Walmart and was appaled at how HUGE I am! UGH! No wonder I hurt.

(((Gaye))) I had lunch about 3:00 (told you omlettes are filling! *grin) and it was one of those pkgs. of veggies that you steam in the microwave..carrotts, broccoli, caulif...and it was good!

i put a picture of myself on my bathroom mirror and one on my fridge.

you can do it gaye. south beach is the best.

I got the books I listed in that other thread- been skimming them but might not have real time to dig into them until next week.
One book talks of inflammation on a cellular level causing illness and weight gain.

another is about liver and lymph cleansing with gentle exercise
- so far they both sound doable and no weird stuff LOL

I plan to clean/sort and donate lots of stuff in the storage for end of year tax deductions.

can't button any of my nice dress pants- so yep gotta get doing it!!
