Every day is a struggle when your'e trying to shed pounds. I took my DS through the Drive Thru Window today and he ordered his "feast". I was proud of myself and only ordered a drink. I got home and ate a sensible lunch. AND< I love fast food! So, your iron will is affecting me too.

I'm still in CA having a nice time with some comfortable friends and comfortable temps. It don't git no better than this. I had a long nap today and have almost finished one book so far. The boy is off on a scouting camp weekend and it's just us grown-ups tonight, which is code for "we don't have to stay up late and watch a stupid movie!". LOL, we're ready for some intellectual stimulai!

Tomorrow is a wedding, and Sun. is spa day. I don't know if I can keep up this pace much longer.

hello all,

well, today's been a definite mixed bag.
my weight is the same. but i'm not sad because yesterday was a good day.
and, i didn't overeat after dinner.
i didn't walk, my legs weren't up to it. so i just skipped.

i met my friend for lunch at 1200 and ran a couple of errands. i pulled out from the cleaners and was going down the strip of cars and someone started pulling out right into me. i honked my horn but it was too late. they broadsided the passenger side of my van.

thankfully i'm fine. really. there was no damage to my car. maybe a couple of paint chips, very small. their car no damage. we exchanged names and #'s. i called my insurance when i got home and we decided nothing need be done.

the people also just called me to make sure i was allright. very nice folks.

so then i was on my way to do another errand when i suddenly got very tired. i was having some visual disturbances. hard to describe. i could see clearly but my vision just felt off. i turned around and came home. could hardly walk and made it to bed. now i feel better.

this kind of thing is happening more often. i know my MS is getting worse. slightly but definitely. it's scary to me. i need my mom. it's times like these when i'm sorry i'm single. just need someone to lean on. i see my neuro next wk. good timing.

thankfully that's about it.

Wow Judy dear... That was definitely not a good day, except I am thankful you are all right from the auto mishap. Cars can be replaced, but our Skinny Butt cannot!!!

I know you feel alone and I feel sad about that, b/c we all need that shoulder at times. I have a wonderful DH, but I still wish I had my Mom at times when I am down and out. She always had a way of making me feel better.

I wish I could hug you right now... Rest today, my friend.... You need to get your sx's calmed down. huggy me~~ huggy you!

i read part of the Sun paper and watched Meet the Press. barfo, ralph nader is putting his name in the ring as an independent. sheesh.

i'm going back to bed soon.

but first, i lost 1 lb. 14 more to go.
i think i just might be inspiring myself a titch.

my friend and i just made a date for Tea at the Brown Palace for march 24 at high noon. it's my BD present so, we'll see the harp lady again. we like to do something special for our BD's. it's a treat. for anyone that doesn't know the Brown is a very famous hotel in downtown denver. lots of people in high places stay there.

Judy~~~ I have a confession! I was so BAD last night. We went to a gathering last night for MIL's birthday and I ate like I was going to the electric chair. But, it taught me a goooood lesson.

I slept awful, felt like my tummy had a brick in it. I don't know what happened. I knew as I was chowing down, that I would pay for eating all that greasy food later, but threw caution to the wind. Blech!

(pizza, cheese balls, brownies!!!) Believe you me, they tasted good at the time, but the restless, tossing and turning night will make me a little smarter the next time. So, don't do this!!!

I was supposed to get a massage today, but it is supposed to be freezing rain later and I just don't feel like going anyway. I called and cancelled early, but they sound like I'm taking food out of their mouth by not going. My tummy still feels like it's full, so lying on it is not an option. (bad DM)

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling to good.

But you will get better soon. And we all have to have some days we
celebrate with our relatives.

I've had a pretty good day, after a rough start getting to PT and finding
out they decided I didn't need mine because I'm a frequent flyer.
THere word not mine.

THey forget that I only get one session a week with the group they
cancelled, and I really needed it today. So I was a little upset. I
was off balance and I was dizzy and needing my help. But my other
physical therapist worked me in since she has a student, a hour early
because I was going to have to cancel her if she couldn't work me
in a little early.

So she got me back in a balanced frame and all is well.
