I'm glad you got out and had a nice time. Remember when we talked about a big bottle of aloe gel? This redness is what my friend was talking about during her radiation treatments. She slathered the girls in it at night and it seemed to "cool" them down. Maybe it will help Lucy & Ethel?

It seems like we all have those highs and lows, and considering all you've endured this year, dear Judy, I happen to think you are doing quite well! Just hang on and focus on the moment one day at a time. You are going to be great!

This experience is going to make your guest lecture that much better, and think of the future nurses and patients who will benefit from that dose of your hard-earned wisdom!

Hope your feeling good today Judy. Jim feels really good and that's a major improvement. He stopped the Marinol and now knows that was causing his fatigue. We're going to let the antibiotics run their course and see how he is after that.

My sister came by yesterday and cooked a lovely dinner for us, it was really nice of her. I told Jack not to get any ideas!

She left a little while ago and I'm thinking nap. The weather is finally clearing up after 3.5 straight days of rain. This is a river town and we've had a lot of flash flooding (=good excuse to not go grocery shopping ).

My purple Crocs came the other day, they're hilarious and I love them. So light-weight and ridiculous, just perfect for me.

Hello Judy dear~ Sorry I haven't checked sooner. I'm glad that your'e feeling more upbeat and as Sandy said, you are certainly entitled to a "bummer" day. I think it's great that you went to dinner w/your friend. You need to do "normal'' things.

You are still the Oh Inspiring One and don't you forget it. You know that we are here for you and just continue to let us know how you are doing and how YOU are feeling.

cin, i can just see you in purple crocs. i have a whole bunch of jibbitz that fit in the holes. i'll send you some if you'll wear them. they're kind of hard to get in but one of the kids can do it for you. they're fun and a conversation starter, not that you need THAT.

i grabbed a bit after my tx and then went to the dreaded grocery store. i should be set for more than 2 wks. by then i'll empty the freezer and maybe make the chili. it's beautiful today, in the hi 70's. then it's going to be warmer; 85, the rest of the wk. uh.

the girls are fine. they hurt when you push on them. i keep them pretty guarded tho. this all may last 6 mos til i'm back to "normal" and know what size i yam.
