ok guys. i'm IN.

today i went out for a haircut. as i get older it's getting almost wiry and wants to go every which way. she cut it short but it grows fast and by the end of a month i'm chomping at the bit to get it cut.

next month i'll do the color cause april cathy is coming. i'll be gray for a month.

i got a coccyx cushion in the mail from this medical supply store i called and i actually think it might work. it was only $20. as long as i don't remove the covering i can return it. i'm usually on the couch by now, so far so good.

i also cooked a recipe i saw on a Paula Deen show, and, with NO butter. noodles, chicken, crm of mushroom soup etc. it was a casserole. oh, i forgot the cheese. but it was actually good and so now i've got several meals in the fridge. i sure used all my spoons to get it done tho. my legs are done.

thanks for all your support. i'd like to stay if you can still listen and it looks like you can. i may even get back on track and lose 25lbs this yr.

love you guys.

Hello Judy dear! Hello all!
Thanks for asking about DS; he goes back to the Gastro in a wk to see what the Dr suggests and to see if the meds are helping, as he wanted to give the meds a couple of wks to see if they help. I am doing OK, just waiting impatiently for Spring, but we are supposed to have a major warmup in the next day or so. Wer'e talking high 40's - 50's. I'm downright ''giddy'' about that.

My head has healed enough that I can get my long awaited hair done. I get it colored, trimmed, etc every 6-7 wks and cringed when I had to cancel due to my poor HAID!!!

Today I am meeting w/the surgeon in regards to my MIL. She has been dx'd w/Infitrating Ductal Carcinoma in her breast! She will be 83 in a couple of wks and has advanced Alz's, so I'm going as an extra set of ears, plus I take good notes. We will learn of her options. One of my dearest, old friends (57) had surgery on Mon for Lobular Breast ca, so it's been a bit overwhelming lately, but I think of our ANIMAL here and know that people can overcome these things.

Judy, you have helped alot of people w/your courageous outlook and perserverance to tackle your illness last year. Inspiration comes in many packages!

How are you feeling today Oh Inspiring One??? I didn't see you in the hall, but saw a straggler around 1:30. (must have been Sandy) I've got to watch the water intake before bed, but my meds make me so thirsty!

Have a good day all!!!

Hi Judy and thanks for asking about us too.

Jim's doing well. I told you he's getting evaluated for a new chair cushion and a leg spreader. His spasms are making the knees go inward so the spreader will help keep them straight. Sometimes when I'm driving I reach over and grab a leg and pull towards me and he said that feels good. I can't imagine what pain he goes through watching his legs crimp up like that.

Me? I am healing and hanging in there. I have considered going back to school to learn therapeutic massage. It will be so good for Jim and gives me something to fall back on in case. I wont work but I will keep my skills and licence up to date by volunteering to give massages for charity or what not. Of course my friends get freebies too.

i'm your fwiend i will come and get a freebie every wk.
where did you say you live again????

i had my massage today.
came home and laid down which helped. a bit of rebound pain.
but overall my muscles were very calmed down this wk. don't know why or i would do it again.

tomorrow is a rest day cause i'll be out sat and sun doing things which is a good thing. and next wk is quiet.

the cushion i got helped a lot but i still couldn't sit the whole evening.
i ordered another one. can't describe it. i'll try that too. i can always return it.

i'm glad i made that chicken casserole yesterday. that should last til the wk/e with a veggie.

Judy, how come the doctor isn't ordering a seat eval on you? Jim gets them when he's having trouble. You sit on this chair and it measures the pressure points on a computer screen. Then, when they figure out which seat is best they re-measure to make sure the cushion is working for you. They do this for mattresses too. Insurance should pay for it.

PS: If you ever find your way out here to north central Illinois the massage is on me. If I find my way to you, same thing.
