umph, i'm 60!

i went out this am to do some errands. i went to gas up the van because we might get some snow next wk. and there laying right before my eyes was a shiny, brand spanking 2009 new lincoln penny!

so, i picked it up and went into the store and bought 5 powerball tickets. wish me luck.

my back is hurting but my muscles seem a bit better. i'm on my way to take a nap.

We saw Footloose yesterday and it was nice. I posted some pics on the Footloose thread. Just relaxing today and cleaning up the junk mail table. haha

today was a very nice day.
the family came over for lunch and we had all things from the jewish deli.
my niece is only 19 but so much more mature than i ever was.

i had a coffee table full of cards and gifts and beanie babies.
so nice to know so many of my friends cared about me.

oh ps... don't kill me but it was 78! degrees here today.
however, the next few days are turning cold and rainy. we sure need the moisture. there's a big fire danger in CO now.

i actually turned on my AC today.

How nice that you had a good birthday, dear Judy! Those milestone years can sometimes really wreak havoc on our sense of self. It sounds like it hasn't fazed you a bit, you of cucumber cool.

Well, I'm shaving down slowly but I sure wish I could move more, this is the least mobile I've ever been and it sure isn't making the weight drip off of me.

I've developed a new strategy for my too-tight jeans, I just stay in my jammies all day.

i went out and ran a few errands today. i had to actually go down to the hospital to register for the diabetic class in person. umph. wouldn't let you call over the phone, even with a dr's order. poo. it's scheduled for april 4. i hope it gets me moving. but i know the CLASS won't. only ME will.

tomorrow i'm in. and wed is the injection.
i'm just thinking 3 wks til cathy comes.

oh, my friend sent me a beautiful rose cup and saucer. it was full of tiny pink roses. it's so pretty.
