well, made it home from the services. it was all very nice.
wouldn't ya know that since there's no workmen here making a racket that i couldn't fall asleep.

it's tomorrow i'm a little wary about since it will be a late nite for me and my pain and fatigue is so much worse after 1700. no matter, i'll get thru it. and, enjoy myself. i can't wait to see the bride.

i made it thru the wk/e.
i ended up staying at the wedding til about 2230. took about an hr to get home and went to bed 0001. boy did i sleep well.

it was all beautiful. the bride was gorgeous and it was fun to see her. dinner was good. all the people were nice to talk to. i just missed the cake. i couldn't hold out that long.

it's a good thing because i've lost 7 POUNDS! omg i hope i can keep this up. i'm about to break a big # on the scale.

i'm up to about 10" walking, up from 8. that's a biggy for me.

i'm in today. the banging has started again. this is the 3rd wk. pray for me. i can't take it. it's pretty hot here. in the 90's. it's supposed to last all wk.

what did you guys do over the wk/e? any fireworks?

Way to go Judy....Yay!

I do hope all the racket stops so you can get some rest.

Didnt see any fireworks...my youngest is not a fan of loud noises and
I dont have to see them. We had a nice pool party/bbq at our
house on Sat. and on Sun. she rested.

Im so excited for Cindy and her bot foot. I cant wait to hear how its
going to work!

Love to everyone

hi all,

just wanted to let you know i might be off line for a few days. they're bringing my new desk tomorrow and putting it together on friday. when they deliver the new desk they're taking my old one out. thank goodness for a little negotiation on that. sorry cindy, just can't put it together myself.

anyway, the pounding goes on here. THEN (umph) i went down yesterday about 1700 to get my mail. and, i find out the elevator to the parking garage is out of order. i call the office and they confirm. it needs a new part.! supposed to be here today. they should have put a notice on my door to let me know.

the problem is that they're blocking off the main entrance door for construction. without the elevator to the parking garage i can't get into and out of the bldg. all the other entrances are stairs. so, i had to cancel my PT appt at the last minute. thank goodness they aren't charging me. people (like mgment) don't even think about these things. it's so annoying. i pray that the part comes in today. and, last wk they shut the water off for a day cause they had to replace the boiler.

i can't wait to move out of here but it'll be another yr. anyway...my "friend" called me today. he tried to call last wk but didn't leave a message. he's still interested. he's going out of town this wk/e so sometime soon we'll go out for a drink. everytime i think this must be off, it's on.

Hey, all, checking in. That bloody Panera Bread has been puffing up a muffin top again. Curse them and their wicked temptress, raisin bread!!!

I've been running around a lot (for me) showing off the bot foot. Folks around here are pretty hopped up about it and I've been doing one hour demo visits with friends and even my neuro & staff. They're great, they've seen me from the beginning and remember how I used to move. It was almost emotional spending an hour with all of them today. What a terrific bunch they are.

Aw, don't be a wimp, Judy, of course you can put the desk together!!!

That building snafu is totally ILLEGAL! They could get seriously fined for that little infraction. They're obviously trying to skirt paying a premium for emergency service. What jerks. I think the legal language is something like, "denying you full, safe, and expected enjoyment of your home". I'd bet the fire department would get a real kick out of hearing about this situation.

Judy, if you don't tell us that guy's name, I'm going to start calling him Harry Chest.

Oooooh! This just in: I spoke with Judy last night and I was able to muscle the mystery man's name out of her. Since Judy's offline waiting for her new desk, I propose a guessing game.

Here's a big, generous, clue: Like Sandy's, his name is both an adjective and a proper noun. So, technically, if she were on a beach, she could say, "I am Sandy" and one would think it a clever pun, or look her over head to toe, or introduce him/herself in kind.

Clue #2: His name is not "Sandy".

With the luxury of these two clues, you should all get it on the first try.
