yes, absolutely! some migraineurs can even forecast a pressure change more accurately than weathermen. but you don't have to suffer from migraines to get a headache due to pressure change. people can also get joint aches, and pain from previous (old, healed) injuries.

Tonight (Friday night) I awoke at 11:00 pm from a nap and heard rain. Rain is beautiful.

i am happy to hear you say that. i love rain (although, with my current temps, i would not like to be out in it! ) but i do love the sound of rain. i recall you were bothered by the sound of it at one time. perhaps you still are, in certain circumstances. i think you said the rain was needed at this time.

p.s. we are approaching 32*F now. 11 am. i have to go to the pharmacy today. i am putting it off.

100% chance of rain today with heavy storms likely.
Right now it is just gloomy. The weather radar has the storm west of us.
I was thinking of working in the yard today....guess not. We do need the rain.
Good movie weather, maybe we will go see margaret thatchers movie The iron lady with myrle streep. She is a fabulous actress, love her movies.

My mom had a great meeting and the student will be headed back to
school on Monday. So everything was fine.

Had to add:

When it comes to the fog from Friday. I just learned from Derrick
That I was not only right that I shouldn't drive north and didn't.

But probably the school should have cancelled. Luckily there was
no deaths or hopefully real injuries.

But he just told me today, a really interesting story.

4 buses had problems.

1 (His) Was stopped by Cows, It took quite a while it sounds like for
the cows to go away. For the bus to be able to go on to school.

2. (His) Happened to pass this one. There was one that didn't see a
ditch and ended up in it. This particular bus, it took quite a bit it sounds
like to get the bus and kids out.
Per Derrick 5 kids went to the hospital to be checked.
2 were picked up at the bus by their parents.
the rest were seen by the nurse at the school.

3. Another special needs bus was crossing a highway, and almost hit or got
hit by a car. The next part I'm not sure exactly why. But I like. A police
car stopped the bus, or the bus just stopped. And checked all the kids to make sure none needed to go to the hospital. And sent them on to school.

4. There was another bus late for some reason. He didn't tell me why. And I didn't ask. I honestly wasn't sure I wanted to know if something happened
more than just fog.


Wow, I had already wondered if, they should really be going that morning.
And I had also wondered if Derrick's regular driver would be back. Am I
glad she was. But I'm so grateful no one was hurt.

I'm also grateful, even though he had to miss his favorite class, that they
made them all go to the nurses office to be checked out.

But next time, I'd rather they just err on caution side even longer, and
not send them at all.

Yep at times they get out of the fencing.

And in this case it was so odd. For Derrick, He said,

I looked out my window and there stood a cow.

I think it freaked him out. He is at the back of the bus.
And to have a cow standing there was odd.

I personally was glad they were all okay. And that also
the preschoolers weren't on any of the three special
needs buses.

That would have been hard for them.

Well, I hope everyone is safe of course, but I saw the news earlier and it made me worry about waves. brrrrrrrrrrrrr

Me three about Waves.


Its really a mess around here. Its been so foggy all weekend.
And again today. Ugh its hurting my getting to my parents.

Oh well, then I go out to the bank for my husband this morning.

And after a 2 hour delay find Derrick's bus sitting up town.
With a sherriff's dept vehicle stopped talking to someone on
the bus I take it.


I feel so sorry for the kids. They were not done with the route
again today. And had to take care of a unrully kid.

But better safe than sorry.

Just thankful the preschool kids weren't on the bus.

It's cloudy. The moon will be full in about twelve hours.
