Hubby was getting upset that I am upset. He does things like that and it is very unhelpful.

Sis had a phone talk with him and told him it has only been 3.5 freeking days of mourning and that he can go with the flow for a little bit. It's a normal process. She managed to calm him.

Last night hubby and I set up the computer.
We had to do a bunch of stuff. . . partly because I bought new keyboard, new mouse, 4 port USB, , . . . .and hubby is unfamiliar w/ mac stuff
. . . installed my MS Office for Mac . . .

I bough a CD to upgrade my OS 10.5.8 to 10.6.3. . . . .not going to mess with that now. . . . .'will deal with it another time.


The only thing I "lost" was my book marks and my stickies. Don't make fun of me, but I use the stickies a lot. My notes are gone. I have a fresh start now. :cool:

I just got caught up on everything, I am so sorry you're having such a hard time. I'm really sorry about your collegue too, hubby needs to understand you know this guy for thirty years and it's not gonna be a week and you'll be over it kind of thing. Hi mari, I am sorry you are having PC trouble. I lost mine a month or so ago and just got a gift of a rebuilt one. It works, and it was cheap. I was lost without it, so I know how you feel. Mine came from Microsoft authorized refu bisher. I am having trouble getting use to it also. Microsoft error report is flashing and I have no idea why. Have a better day Mari, and I hope that you find help for the crash. I had no back up so I lost my information. That stunk...ginnie:eek:

Hi,
3.5 hrs sleep and sad.

I have to start teaching one of my colleague's classes.
The school scheduled a counselor to come in and meet with his students during his classes today.

On Friday I was out of town at a conference. On Wed. I cried while I was teaching my own classes. We'll see how today goes with the extra class.
Maybe I should try not to cry during the class with his students.

BTW, did I say it is EARLY?! THe sun's not up all the way. UGH.

if you have to cry cry....i would explain that i just lost a a dear old friend who taught here. the kids should understand. could you take monday off?
