Sending thoughts for your friend.

Please call and schedule the colonoscopy. Honestly the prep is the
worst part of the procedure. And it will feel much better when its over.

Either way.

Dear Bobby,

I like that you can escape -- into books or whatever you have available.
I am sorry that you need to escape.

Maybe you can start to see yourself differently. You are much stronger than you recognize.

I am pretty sure I will do it. I have an appt with my doctor next month and I will ask him for a referral. I did call a doctor a couple of months ago but she never called me back.

I am sorry to hear about your friend. It is good that she is taking it in good spirits, and that her sons are supportive. I hope they are able to treat her quickly so that she will be ok.

I feel bad too that you have gotten so frightened about the colonoscopy... i agree that if you are this worried, then just having the procedure is the simplest thing to do. then you will have the reassurance that you need.

is it ok that i giggled about the nightgown? hey that's always good to have... i hope you enjoy it. (i love nighties! :))

lots of love

~ waves ~

you are right about the reassurance even if it is bad news. I just ordered another nightgown lol. they are so much fun to wear

The proceedure itself is nothing to worry about. I had this test done a year or so ago. Just go get it done, it will put you at ease when it is all over with. if I can help in any way, or you have any qustions, do tap back. ginnie

thank you ginnie. I have had the test explained to me. I don't know why but i am afraid to be put under and I am afraid that they might make a mistake besides finding something awful. I guess I am a control freak. I am glad you enjoy reading too. just finished another book yesterday and can't wait to start another book today.

sorry about your friend, she seems like a strong woman.
glad that you are friends for so long.

we had a falling out for a while but that was finally ironed out. she can dance circles around me when she wants to. she seems like such a very strong woman. she is really taking it in stride. I was the one who sounded upset.
I hate this obsessing. I found out my psychiatrist has never had one either..

Bobby

Sending hugs, you can do this. As the little engine would say.

I have had, about 5 now. I had three by three different doctors.
In one year. But they were looking for different things supposedly.

I even pointed out that I'd just had one. I had to have both
the colonoscopy and endoscopy?, so they couldn't put me out.

I hate that more.

I like being out, and then back with it all over. But I do understand
what your saying. Have some relatives that have that problem.

One that needs something done, that I have to figure out a way
to talk her into. So I really do get it.

oh wow Donna. can't figure out why they couldn't sedate you. I heard of somebody waking up during the procedure and said it was all right. I freaked when I heard that. My you have been through a lot. You are one brave soul.
Bravo

Hi Bobby

I think there are certain aspects of medical that we all have a particular thing we don't like. I don't care for the dentist, and I obsess over going, and wind up not going....Got into trouble over that. Hope you can get it done quickly. Have you never been put to sleep before? ginnie
