Heart

Dear Donna

i am glad Will came through fine with the tonsils. i think the not wanting to drink/swallow may be normal. i had mine done at 4, and i didn't want anything not even icecream. they had made a tiny cut in my tongue by accident and it hurt. i don't remember a lot of things from that age but i remember bits from the tonsil dealy, including keeping my tongue curled where it hurt, and my parents bringing icecream, and my refusing it.

good luck with your meds. the state only covers a few of mine, the rest are out of pocket. i can't have triptans because i can't afford them. i have to pay for nsaids out of pocket and they are not cheap in the amounts i take, except for indomethacin, which is not always effective and can give me bad side effects. generic gabapentin helped with prevention, but it is out of pocket and it is expensive. i can't even use it now because my depakote dose is still too high to combine with it. i should try to get an exemption for migraines as well as for bipolar, then the state would cover more stuff - probably not triptans though. but right now i just can't even handle embarking on that process.

all that to say, i understand about not being able to afford meds and being stuck with compromises or without stuff you need.

i hope your insurance kicks in soon and takes care of a good chunk for you.

i did pretty well on citalopram - i hope it helps you.

Thanks Waves

I also think the raising of the gabapentin the other 300 will really help me.

I then just will have to have the topamax generic prescription gotten.
Because I forgot it. But I'll work it out. Oh and the imitrex has to
be figured out. But that can wait for now. I haven't needed it as
much.

Mainly I will need the topamax.

I understand all to well the cost of medications. If you contact the manufacturer they do a certain amount of patient assistance programs. Your Dr will complete some information and will send in to the manufacturer. If you qualify the meds are sometimes free!

Will kept his mother up all night, with pain. I'm not sure that she what
she was doing about the meds for pain.

But she also had something else happen about midnight, that would
make it impossible to sleep. So I'm not sure what happened.

But I do know that while in town today. He was in lots of pain, and
getting liquids in him, was really hard, and at times almost impossible.

Ive had him this afternoon, and will tonight. And I'm doing the best
I can to get liquids and popsicles or anything else in him.

We will see.

Donna

ps. Found a comic type old batman movies, the walmart had it for $20.00 it has 640 minutes. 4 disc. Will found it I should say. Then we found, batman toys and he found PJ's batman at Goodwill.

Oh gosh, my daughter-in-law had to bring Will's ear drops down.
His ear was really bothering him.

She got her, and it was bleeding. So she called the doctor and
its okay.

But it was hurting and things so much. He wanted to go home.
So I think it was such a surprise (pleasant in a way to his mom)

SO I am Will less tonight after all.

I am sorry I have responded incorrectly before...I thought Will was an adult.
He is your grandson?
Glad that you are there to help.

Its okay Bizi.

Yes he is my youngest grandson, the one with the severe speech disability.

Its hard to keep people straight. And I didn't notice a wrong response.

Heehee, shows how off my concentration has been lately.

Hoping with the celexa generic, I've not learned its spelling yet. I will
start to do better.
