Hi, Busy,

Are you looking for tea with no caffeine?
-->> I drink Peppermint tea OR Ginger Tea when I want a pick me up.
I also drink Linden or Lemon Balm --- but these are gentle soothing Teas

If you are O.K. with caffeine, here is a page of bold teas that are available:

http://www.ineedcoffee.com/99/tea/

Quote:
Espresso Imperial Gunpowder - tightly rolled full-potency green tea leaves explode with a complex flavor spectrum.

Lapsang Souchong - a smoky tea that has a wonderful leather smell.

Kenyan, Zimbabwe, Ethiopian Harrar Earl Grey - a rich body (usually a Darjeeling base) with a penetrating taste and oil of bergamot.

Guatemalan, Sulawesi Keemun (fancy or Lion Mountain) - a deep, mellow black China tea.

Tanzania Peaberry, Ethiopian Sidamo Assam (Goldentip, or extra fancy) - a full-bodied malty tea.

Puerto Rican Yauco Selecto, Papua New Guinea Formosa Oolong - pleasant smooth aftertaste

China Gui Hua -black tea with pieces of dried kwei flowers.

Sumatran Jasmine blossom (fancy or Yin Hao) - a green tea with a floral scent and a pleasant aftertaste, Ti Kwan Yin - a fruity, oolong tea.

Brazilian, Kona China Rose Petal - black tea with dried roses added.

White Peony green tea with dried peonies added
I do not think I tried any of these. Let us know if you do try them and find them satisfactory.

My health food store sells teas by the scoop. You can even mix and match. Call ahead of time to see if the person who knows teas is in that day.

Thank you mari for the list.
I am looking for herbal teas that I can drink at night instead of ciders, so far i have tried bland lemon, mint, orange, calming chamomile. ho hum.
I will try the rest out this week, link there is a blueberry one and another one.
maybe I could drink decafinated constant comet I used to drink that. I still have the rooibos tea that I have liked from before. so I know I like that one. It is cinnamon flavored and a touch of sweetness naturally. I drink it unsweetened and like it very much. I was just trying to find some other teas to drink at night for variety.
I hope you are having a good sunday!

I don't think that some councilors know,or believe what I tell them about this subject. So I end up in a head trip.

I know what you are talking about when you say that you get hypomania when you write them.

I can write down notes if I write things down fast. If I start obsessing, that brings an end to the notes at that time. BF
OMG... BF You describe me in so many ways! I obsess about my journals, too... I completely understand the head trip!

I am good at "talking-the-talk"... but when it comes to walking it... I'm not so great. So, when I encourage people to journal, I think back to myself and where I was when I first started. It helped me, then, because I was leaving my husband (14 yrs ago) and had lost my identity. Reading back through the years (I go for months without writing anything), I see changes and obsessions and significant worry that someone (my grown sons) would read my journals and be sad...

After reading what everyone else has to say about it here, Bizi, I think you've had some great advice and insight into writing in a journal. It certainly has helped me! That's what's so darn cool about this forum!

Friends mean well when they remind us that "everyone has something"... what these folk don't recognize is that this type of talk is inappropriate and non-supportive. They are making it about themselves and not listening

I used to work in a TEA shop... and my most favourite teas were blends of fruit (usually found in the herbal section) - Loose leaf tea is the best - and what I loved about these teas besides their delicious fruit flavour - was that it was great as ice tea... You can make them as strong as you like - and they are usually a lovely red colour. Bonus - they are naturally sweet enough and have a ton of vitamins! Not really like tea, more like a great tasting juice.

Bizi... hope you're having a great weekend!

Red face

thank you ginnie!
I tried using the teas that I have but by adding diet(splenda) cranberry juice it gives it a kick of flavor that these teas need. Been drinking them all day because I have been doing paper work off and on all day.
Still have more to do to catch up. I so easily get behind in paperwork, its not hard, I just don't like to do it but have to. I wear all of the hats with this business.
WE just got back from having dinner at picadilly cafeteria, chicken and dumplings, mac and cheese, greens and a raisin muffin, comfort foods! it was the $4.99 special too!
A friend of ours took my car to his friends house this afternoon and they changed the transmission fluid and " fixed" my car. It did not need a new clutch nor engine brackets like my honda dealer said.
He Saved us a lot of money.
Back to do more paperwork, more tea

Bizi

Glad the friend took care of your car.

It was good that it didn't need the things you were told by the Honda dealer.

I hate it when they lie.

I finally made it thru all of my paper work and filing and charting and billing and other work stuff. Found a mistake, I forgot to call a client on saturday to see how they were doing after I worked on their feet. I will call tomorrow.Well I made it thru the day of working at home and not drinking, a first for me.
I decided to print out my postings on this thread like donna suggested as this is sort of a journal. I will bring this to her tomorrow when I see her at 7pm...late I know. But will go to the gym directly after my session with her.
It will be a busy day. I like the work week...more structure and routine which I like. I have made it 12 days with out drinking.....however this is the most tea that I have ever drank in a given period of time. I love it with the cranberry juice added so good! yeah!
Thank you guys for all of your support!
