Mari

I would love to have your temperatures. Even half that.

I don't think it got above 20 today. And thanks for the links.

Hi, Steve,

That is cool about the rechargeable hand warmers.

Where did you get a tv? Do you hook it up to an antenna when you suspect a storm is coming? I have not had a battery tv since the tvs went digital in 2000.

I had analog small TV's also before the digital change. They where both good for nothing after the change,so they went into the trash.

I bought a AUVIO(Cat.No 16-972)3:5" Portable TV right after the digital TV switch over. It runs on four AA batteries. You can hook it into a 12 volt rechargeable battery with a DC 5 volt adapter. It's telescopic antenna is about 10,and 1/2 inches long in which you pull out of the unit. I live way out in the country far away from any TV antennas. I can get NBC with it. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Steve,

I briefly looked for that.
I did not find that or anything for that matter.
I suppose I have to look harder and when I have time and money.
(Right now I feel that I do not need to spend money.)

update

The A / C company called twenty minutes ago to tell me that they will be here between 12:00 noon and 5:00 pm today. :) :Dancing-Chilli:

I left a note for hubby in case we miss each other and I am sleeping or what not.

It feels hot here in this room but maybe that is because I have been working all night under bright incandescent light bulbs.

Hubby woke up during the night to mention opening the windows. I told him to keep the bedroom window closed to the street noise for when I eventually go to bed -- the bedroom faces the street. Then he went back to his no- open window policy for now because whatever.

The gods are smiling upon us.:D
TODAY IS OUR COOLEST DAY OF THE YEAR SO FAR. :Grin-Nod:
Our high is expected to get to only 79 degrees.

We knew the weather man's prediction of snow was right.

It got to 31 today.

So now we are in a severe storm warning till 7pm tomorrow night.

Snow, snow and more snow already. Ugh, so much fun.

Hey Mari. It's a Radio Shack item. I bought these things when I could afford them. My money is very tight right now also. BF:hug::hug::hug:
