As Mardi Gras comes to a close I remember the fun over the weekend we had at the parades and cook outs and king cake party. It was definitely a "Fat Tuesday" with all of the eating and drinking that took place.
But alas, It is now Ash wednesday and although I do not consider myself a religious person, I think that I am more spiritual. I recognize that for the majority of people in my town who are catholic, today is a big deal. And I respect that. This is the perfect opportunity to sacrifice something that is enjoyable to me and drinking is that thing.
So I have let Belle know that I am reenlisting in the 100 day challenge, starting today.
Day 1, March 5th 2014.
