I have lost track of days......

So who is wolfie?
The big bad wolfie who calls upon us....he whispers in my ear lies. telling me that I can't have any fun with out alcohol. Makes me want to drink.....whispers I can reward myself with alcohol. Tells me that I am more sociable, funnier...they are lies!
He has come to me just after finishing the new years eve party AF. and so happy that I had a great time, a wonderful time with my twin sister and hubby , laughed ate, danced and had fun fun fun all with out drinking a drop of alcohol. I proved to myself that I could have fun with out the alcohol. So what happens ....wolfie comes crawling to my door yesterday. Taunting me, see "you don't have a problem with alcohol....why not just get some drinks and enjoy them.
I was taunted for 2 days. So much so that I told jeff about it today at the store....where my favorite drink lies just around the corner.
He said no you don't want to do that. And he was right.
FU WOLFIE!!!!!!!

Bizi,
I'm so proud of you. You are doing so fantastic. I don't think
the counting is necessary any more.

But in case you want to know. It was 120 days on 12/09/13 so
you can count up from there.

You are a inspiration to all us.

Belle said I needed to reward myself for the new years eve success. I feel that my life is one big reward so am not rushing to go buy anything.

Bizi

I think life is an every day reward, but I suspect Belle meant a more specific one. Also, what if you didn't have to spend money... or not money you'd not ordinarily spend.

Maybe you and Jeff find something to do -- a picnic (too cold) ehmmm... well, you know, something! Point isdo it *IN CELEBRATION* of your success at New Years... coz yeah, that really is a big deal!

Or what about a gift to the both of you? A tangible something or other, or a night out, or a daytrip someplace nice?

Alternatively, what if you just give Jeff a gift for standing by you. It would still be a little act of recognition for yourself even if the gift were directed at him. I think that overtly performing some act of self-recognition is what is important here. How it's done and whether it costs a little or a lot are just practicalities.

Reward

You could put up a sign in the bathroom mirror that says something like:

You Are Fabulous.
