I wish I could help, but I can't get more of that puzzle fabric, they sold out of it. I am not an expert though, I am only a novice, I know it seems like I am better then I am giving myself credit for, but it's really hard doing these quilts, took me countless hours, I seriously have lost count, 4 days of cutting the blocks out and then 3 to sew it up. And that's only because I spent a lot of time sewing that it came together in 7 days. Maybe someday I'll be able to do something charitable, I'd like to, but I need a break after this is done. I am happy to report though that the machine is working even BETTER then when it went into the machine shop today, it's awesome, and I got 6 more rows sewn up, they aren't paneled yet, so no picture, but tonight I'll try to get them done and show everyone the progress I've made, the pattern is REALLY shining too! It's gorgeous!

Edited to add:

What do you think?

What do you think?

Hi, Pam,

I am going to snip into the seams and the use a wire brush on it before i take it to the laundromat. It will shed a lot of threads as it rags outward. I am very happy with it so far. I am just about to go finish it up, I have all but three seams done. It's HUGE too! I am so pleased....

Yep bobby, it was frustrating, it was so hard waiting too til it was fixed, well serviced, it's in good shape though! So all is well! Thank you all for the kind words about the two quilts, now I don't KNOW what to sew next??? Other than I need something to sew up! LOL!

Edited:

it's done!!!

Pam

Its beautiful. And I wouldn't have expected you to make us a quilt.

I was just explaining what and why.

But I love what you do.

Enjoy it now. And please take a long deserved break.

I wish I could though Donna, I wish I could, if they have more of that puzzle fabric someday who knows? I know my son sure loves his! I am about to lay down under mine for the first time to nap with the kiddo, he's under his on the other sofa, so we'll both enjoy the rest.

Edited to add this pic of me quilting today:

Wow, I slept GREAT last night under my quilt! It was awesome! I am planning on making other ones too, but it's gonna take awhile to find the right fabric...LOL! Check this one out:

https://www.fabric.com/buy/0321172/f...ger-black-gold

Wouldn't THAT look great with black blocks in the same easy pattern I did my son's quilt in? Man if it was $10 a yard....LOL!
