i still feel relieved. i will go to the senior center today. I ate too much yesterday. i bought spinach and potato indian style and ate the three containers and had white beans. I still feel stuffed. I didn't go to bed til late and was hungry. no scale today.

thank you Steve. I also signed up yesterday for introduction to mysticism and part three of psalms. My class on wednesday will start up again the wednesday after labor day. I am looking forward to the three classes.

I do too, but it is a very complex cuisine, in terms of both ingredients and methods. Most dishes are quite time-consuming to prepare too. If you have to prepare constituent items as well -- eg, ghee, masala blends, etc. -- forget it. LOL.

I don't know, Bobby. It seems you have always listened to news a lot. Seems like partly you enjoy it, and it is a way of keeping in touch with the world, both good things.

Maybe you are getting a bit caught up in it because it is something to do, it engages you, it is thought provoking, and it is easily accessible... tv, internet... silver platter. Me I hate news but I do way too much Mahjonng solitaire, lol.

I remember you were reading a book also. I guess you finished it? Can you find some more books to distract you from news, lol? What about reading scientific stuff on the net. Spend some time with Google and Wikipedia? Maybe read ahead some for the mysticism class?

Just trying to think how to peel you away from the news.
