He really is.

I hate reinstalling OS's even if I've done it literally dozens of times. The trepidation that hangs over me is palpable.

I always fear I will forget to back something up, find some original software disk is corrupt and won't install...etc. Probably why I chose to hand-clean my system, even at the risk of breaking it... figured let's worry about reinstalling after it breaks, not before. :D

I'm glad everything went smoothly, and your system is now clean.

I wonder if you've thought of doing something special for Jeff as a thank you. Even a silly small thing. He's sure to appreciate some form pampering or extra attention after that ordeal.

We went out for char broiled oysters and crawfish for dinner tonight. Does that count?:o I should thank him properly for his efforts.
The electrician finally followed up and called me about coming to our house to install a chandelar and an outlet for jeffs bathroom if it will work. Jeff is not bothered that he has his tooth brush on the bedroom dresser. There should be an outlet in there! He is coming next tuesday at 0730....I wanted him to be done in a couple of hours before I had to leave to go to work, jeff may or may not be able to stay if need be.
I was told to leave the chandelar in the box, so it has been in a box in the living room now for over a year!!!!
I think the guy will eventually come and work on the shed. needs to be repaired, pressure washed, primed and painted.

I called the electrition and asked if he could come later on tuesday, he said yes to 9 am. Hubby agreed to be there for him. I thanksed hubby again for the computer work, he said it was not hard just took a long time.

Good about the electrician.

Good that Jeff did not seem to feel bothered by the computer stuff.

No, reinstalls aren't hard from a technical standpoint, mostly just a lot of tedium and time, as long as you don't fret like I do. I've seen how my anxiety sets me apart from my development peers. Whereas I freak out, seeing hidden dangers at every turn, they are able to be more clinical, which translates to better executive functioning. It sounds like Jeff has that ability, as well. :)

My poor friend susan is in north carolina, for a wedding.
SHE IS NOT doing well.
As we speak she is having a major panic attack. I called and her daughter answered the phone. They had to pulll over into a neighborhood and they are sitting on the side of the road, on their way to this wedding that she now doesn't want to go to. she wants to go straight to her dads place miles away.
I asked if she wanted to talk to me and he said call back later.
sigh
I really feel for them.

Yeah, I feel bad for her too. Is her husband with her in the car as well, or just the daughter?

I kinda hope she just goes to her dad's. Who can do a wedding under those conditions. :(

She was in the car with her husband. as far as I can tell she went to the rehearsal dinner. the wedding is tomorrow. sigh
