Kay, Rest as much as possible. Try to put off some of your tasks.
Cook less. Wear dirty clothes so as not to do laundry, and so on. Or take
clothes to the laundromat / dry cleaners to have someone else do them.

Maybe take a cab instead of driving.

Is there any chance you can get a neighborhood kid to help you with some things? I know that sometimes having someone helping is worse than doing
it yourself but it can work after a time or two of the two of you getting used to each other.

Please keep taking it easy.

I am feeling better today. I haven't had anymore episodes of confusion/disorientation since Thursday, so that's a big improvement :)

I hit my head on a Wednesday. I think it was the 27th?
I have been driving, even though I know I probably should not be. We live in the sticks now, so taking cabs everywhere is out of the question, and there are things that need to be done, and nobody is going to do them for me.

I've been consciously trying to limit my activity and trying to make sure I get my naps in, with the exception of New Year's. The apartment is in pretty good shape because I've done just enough to keep it from looking like a pigsty.

Next week I have 3 appointments, so that will be a big challenge...

I am so glad you are feeling better.

My headache is finally gone. I think that I've recovered from the concussion :)

I've been ridiculously busy, and not happy about it, or tolerating it very well.
Tomorrow's my only "day off" this week, and I hope to catch up on how everybody's been doing.

I'm sorry for my long absence and lack of involvement here lately. I miss you all, and hope you are all doing well :hug::hug:

'Love hearing from you, but it is perfectly fine to take time off.

I hope that your day goes well.

Kay

Don't worry about catching up so much. We are not going any where
and know you are busy, and haven't been to par with the headaches.

Were just all glad your doing better. Be careful they have a habit of
coming back.

Donna... I guess you're right about the headaches. Mine is back again already.

I've caught up with all the threads.
I will catch up with you all tomorrow if I have time.

Dmom3005 01-11-2018 02:20 PM

Kay

Just take it easy. Headaches can come and go. You might
call your primary for more ideas on what you should do.
Let them know your sure you had a concussion and now
have post concussion syndrome. Also there is a area on
here with this topic.
