when i called medicare they said there was no limit but the agency called me back and said that they couldn't have a wheelchair bound person covered on an extension and somebody had to cover the money. that is when she suggested occupational therapy which would help with balance etc. My handwriting is terrible.

OhKay 10-23-2018 09:22 AM

My handwriting is terrible, too. I can barely sign my own name now. I went to the bank twice, and they checked my signature card, and said it was okay, and I didn't need to sign another one.

mymorgy 10-23-2018 09:26 AM

mine is just as bad from the stroke. eeks. I sent a letter to a friend and it took three weeks to get to her lol

Mari 10-23-2018 10:37 AM

Bobby,

I wish you got better sleep.

It's so fundamental to our bodies.

Good luck with the occupational therapy.

The OT could help you with your hand writing.

I am almost depressed but hanging tough. I hope I avoid it. My lecture yesterday was very good. I mentioned I was bipolar and if I could be excused from something. He said yes. He said the mentally ill needed spirituality and medication.

OhKay 10-24-2018 09:05 AM

That’s a wonderful response from your lecturer

I’m glad that you’re hanging in there and fighting your depression right now :hug::hug:

Are you reading?

It’s ridiculous that it took 3 weeks for your friend to get that letter!

mymorgy 10-24-2018 09:09 AM

my handwriting is really bad. she was lucky to get it. I am beginning to read again. I am going slowly.

bizi 10-24-2018 10:07 AM

I am glad that you are beginning to read again. I know how much you enjoy doing that.

Have you had blood work drawn lately? check to see what your hgb is red blood cells, you may be anemic. What about your thyroid levels?

Just a thought.
bizi

mymorgy 10-26-2018 07:58 AM

Dmom3005 10-26-2018 09:34 AM

I wish we could as an group develop an way to sleep.

Just think how many people could use this. And
everyone would be rich.
And could afford help, trips or just what ever they
want.

Pipe dream.

OhKay 10-26-2018 02:03 PM

You may just be catching up on your sleep deficit for now, Bobby. I hope that once you catch up, you won't go back to having insomnia :hug::hug:

mymorgy 10-28-2018 08:40 AM

since Zeynep has come back into my life things are a lot nicer. Yesterday we talked a couple of times. She has had such an interesting life. we talk about current affairs and see eye to eye. she met bloomberg who I want to see as president. she said he is good with ladies. I forgot her phrase. Cecilia knew his girlfriend from central park and her dogs.
after a long talk with suri I am not afraid of death and that makes me feel a lot better. I haven't been depressed since that conversation. It had to do with suffering and the world to come.

mymorgy 10-28-2018 10:05 PM

see the pdoc on tuesday. the klonopin and xanax don't work. my feelings are sort of frozen. the antidepressants don't work so I am sort of numb but I am not depressed. I don't know what he is going to prescribe. the sleeping pills didn't work. I feel very serious.I am still spending a lot of money and my annuity is down a lot of money with the correction or whatever it is.

bizi 10-28-2018 11:16 PM

Have you researched any new meds for depression?
I am sorry that you feel numb, must be awful.
sorry you are not sleeping, that sucks.
I take a small dose of zyprexa 5mg to help with sleep.
I also take .5mg of klonopin and a prolonged released melatonin 3mg.
This cocktail in addition to my 80mg of geodon and 200 mg of lamictal.
I sleep pretty well.
I know it is a lot.
It works for me.
bizi

mymorgy 10-28-2018 11:27 PM

right now I am relying on the doctor. I blew it with cymbalta and xanax and still have the itches as the only result. I can't take lamictal. melatonin never worked. I don't remember if I took geodon. I think so. I am still taking two mg of klonopin twice a day. rats. tomorrow morning I go to my gp.

mymorgy 10-29-2018 02:39 AM

i haven't been able to fall asleep. wondering if i should skip it and make some coffee. just got dressed for my doctor's appt.

went over cecilia's to see the pats. she gave me something. i was so exhausted. she helped me down the hall home and i was asleep within five minutes. I woke up once but slept through the night.less tired. sort of insulted marcia. ugh
saw the highlights on youtube!

bizi 10-30-2018 08:39 AM

OhKay 10-30-2018 09:15 AM

I didn't have time to read yesterday morning... I'm sorry I missed so much, Bobby. I hate that :hug::hug:

I'm glad that you have Zeynep back in your life. She seems to be so positive.
And I'm happy that your conversation with Suri helped you view death in a different light. You have been a good friend to her, and it sounds like she has been a good friend to you, too :hug::hug:

Find out what Cecilia gave you! And ask your pdoc if he will prescribe it without telling him you've tried it before... just tell him your friend takes it, and it works for her or something.

I think last time you saw your pdoc he was mainly concerned about getting you off the Cymbalta? Maybe this time he can move your meds around so they work better? I hope so :hug::hug:

I don't take antidepressants. but I take A LOT of meds... too many to list.
For me, being flat is a good thing, and means that my meds are working. I can't be high at all, and I understand that it's too much to ask for me to be "normal," even though I have periods when I may be approaching what "normal" is...
But I'm BPI. And bad.
Everyone is different, but I think it's hard to find a middle ground when you have to take a lot of psych meds.

Wishing for more sleep for you...

Dmom3005 10-30-2018 10:18 AM

I agree with Kay.

Find out what Cecelia gave you. And ask the doctor.

But it could also be over the counter, so that is good
to know also.

Donna :grouphug::hug:

mymorgy 10-30-2018 01:03 PM

she says it is legal but i don't know but she said not to tell the doctor lol.

Dmom3005 10-30-2018 03:42 PM

Just ask the name.

You can then look it up on line to make sure.

ANd then ask doctor about prescription

Donna :hug::grouphug:

OhKay 10-31-2018 01:19 PM

Holy cow! All she said was it is "legal"? I wonder WTF it is. She needs to give you the name of it...

mymorgy 10-31-2018 03:03 PM

it is lyft

bizi 10-31-2018 04:54 PM

I tried to google lyft and nothing came up except cbd oils which are hemp like products.
bizi

mymorgy 10-31-2018 05:53 PM

that is it

OhKay 11-01-2018 09:57 AM

Ahhhhh...
No wonder why you fell asleep.

I doubt your pdoc would be cool with that lol.

Dmom3005 11-01-2018 10:36 AM

I'm just glad you could sleep.

Donna :grouphug::hug:

mymorgy 11-01-2018 10:49 AM

the doctor told me to double up on the sleeping pills. they still didn't work. he told me to give them four days. I finally took the last gummy candy this morning and was able to nap. the itches have basically gone away. I called the doctor's office yesterday afternoon and said the itches that cymbalta were causing were driving me crazy. he said I could stop them. In two more days expect to go off the sleeping pills.

Dmom3005 11-01-2018 01:55 PM

Sorry Bobby

I wish I had an idea for you.

I'll keep an ear open for a new med or something that is working
for parents and kids.

Melantonin was the last. And I realize it didn't work for you.

Donna :hug::grouphug:

mymorgy 11-02-2018 05:37 AM

thank you. I had trouble sleeping with the pill. I kept on waking up, I have a stomach ache. i had a nightmare about having no money. I am depressed. I ate too many peaches. I dreamt I had to look for a job. My mother was nasty. I am hardly itching.

bizi 11-02-2018 08:15 AM

Sounds like a difficult evening.
hope you can nap today.
