The only apartment infected is Ellen's, and there was no evidence of bed bugs in the hallway. I'm still anxious and itchy. Can't help it.

I don't know why they are waiting so long, but pest control is coming next Wednesday (the 30th) to spray the whole building. I don't know if they're going to treat Ellen's apartment before then or not. Usually they leave the infected place for last.
Before they come, we have to move everything away from the walls, and everything needs to be unplugged. They gave me a 12-3pm window of when they will be here, and we have to be out for at least 3 hours. They're going to have to give me a better time estimate on Wednesday morning because I can't drive around with crying kitties in their carriers for 6 hours...
And like I said, I can't carry Rocky and Dottie out, so Corey is going to have to take the day off to help me. He's f'ing furious- especially because our upstairs neighbors are the source of the problem. He f'ing hates them SOOOOOOO MUCH.

Corey woke me up a little early from my nap yesterday evening because Ellen and her "husband" were fighting. I guess that they were screaming at each other, the walls were shaking, and it sounded like they were tearing the place apart. Corey wanted to call the police about a domestic dispute, but I'm glad he waited for me to hear it (I only heard the yelling), because she ended up leaving shortly after that, and we didn't hear anymore about it.
I can't defend them if they were tearing up the apartment, but I can imagine they are under a lot of stress. I would f'ing freak out if we got bed bugs. And I know they will be hard to get rid of. They were probably just taking it out on one another.

Next Wednesday may be the earliest the company they are using
could come out. I know when Derrick had his they couldn't
come out till about a week later so it sounds about right.

I'm sorry they were fighting and I'm so glad that Corey waited
to try calling the police till you woke up. I'm sorry he woke you
up early though.

I hope if they continue fighting they move it somewhere else.
So you guys don't have to listen to it.

When I got home around noon yesterday, Ellen was banging away. It really sounds like they're tearing the place apart. I have no idea what in the hell she's been doing up there, but we've been dealing with the noise from one degree or another night and day now. She's was already at it again early this morning.

When Corey came home yesterday, he said the area around the dumpster was littered with furniture and other s- and it looked like a junkyard. They were already told not to take anything out of the apartment so that they wouldn't spread the bed bugs, and when they threw the mattress in the dumpster, Janet told them they would have to find another way to get rid of it. I don't know what they will end up doing with that, or the rest of the furniture. Corey said it looked like they emptied out their whole apartment...
P.S. Getting rid of all your furniture does not get rid of all your bed bugs!!!

So now I'm totally freaked out again that they spread the bed bugs into the hallway and we're going to get them, and since I'm so neurotic, I'm itchy and feel like I have head lice now. I took an extra 1/2mg of Klonopin a little while ago, but the results aren't in yet. I have to go run an errand or two, but I'm probably going to have to clean the whole apartment again to reduce my anxiety. If we do get bed bugs, I'm going up there to punch Ellen in the face. I wish we could move away from them today! They're the worst neighbors ever!

Can you believe that those f'ing morons had a party in that infested apartment last night?!?! That's how these things spread. What in the hell were they be thinking? What could their party guests have been thinking? Ellen has NOT been shy about the fact that they have bed bugs. I guess nobody minded standing, since all their furniture is out by the dumpster LOL

We'll all have to be out of here for 4 hours- not 3 after pest control sprays on Wednesday. I got Corey to agree to take the kitties to the vet while we already have them in their carriers and in the car. There's no need to stress them out again later. The last time we we took them to get them their shots, poor Dottie pooped, peed, and threw up in her carrier. I already made the appointment, but it's a little on the late side. I may try calling a different place to see if I can get an earlier appointment. Either way, I will have to bring a roll of paper towels.
