I washed my hair twice with Head and Shoulders yesterday, but my head's still itchy, and I feel like I have lice. I'm so neurotic...
I'm going to be living in FEAR of getting bed bugs until Wednesday, when the pest control company FINALLY comes in to spray

The waste disposal company came and emptied the dumpster yesterday, but didn't dispose of any of the furniture surrounding it. I'm sure that the maintenance guys have already let the office know what they've been up to, and the office has at least tried to contact Ellen about it. But she doesn't seem to care, and is going to do whatever she wants.

I didn't go on a cleaning spree yesterday. Corey came home early, and I usually don't get into big projects, or clean much at all, when he's home. But I will probably end up doing some serious cleaning today because it feels filthy in here to me, and that's obviously something that really bothers me.

I have to go grocery shopping FIRST tho. I haven't made a list yet. I haven't brushed my teeth or showered either. It's after 11am. But I will still manage to get it done.

The idiots had people over again last night. I wonder if Ellen has told them all that they HAD bed bugs, but got rid of them. She's famously FOS, so that wouldn't surprise me. But she's also a moron, so maybe she thinks that's true.

In the last couple of days, both Corey and I have separately heard Ellen say, "I don't want to move." So, I think her "husband" wants to move. We have heard that kind of talk from them before tho...
I expect to be able to view the downstairs apartment in 6 days. If they haven't given their notice by then, or already moved out, we'll take the apartment because they may NEVER move out, and we NEED to get away from them.

Kay

Take a look at that apartment, and if its as nice or nicer than yours
please because especially of your health go ahead and move downstairs.

Because you deserve to be in a better place. To be able to not
have to worry about stairs and things as much. I think it will
be much better after you move, and easier than if you were having
to later.

Even if they move you have no clue if someone worse were to
move in.

Corey wants to take the new apartment whether or not the a/h's upstairs move or give their notice, but I don't want to go through a move if we don't have to because the whole point of moving is to get away from THEM. We will have upstairs neighbors whether we stay or go, but I highly doubt we will have to deal with any NEARLY as bad as they are.

The idea of moving to the new place is appealing tho. The maintenance guys said it IS nicer than our current apartment, and they would know. So, I'm ready and rearing to go if we have to do it. But, if we don't have to go, we can spruce this apartment up instead. I'm trying to sell Corey on that idea.

The grocery store was a f'ing s- show yesterday. Even worse than your standard Saturday nightmare. It took me twice as long to get in and out.
I was really tired when I got home, but quickly got to work cleaning the hard floors after I put the groceries away, and then I felt a little better...
But after that, I did just as Bizi suggested, and I smoked to quiet my anxiety so I would mellow out and not go nuts cleaning. So, I did stop with the floors.

We have to do laundry today. We have a S- TON of dirty clothes because we didn't go last week. That was my idea because of the impending snow storm. I hate doing laundry. At least Corey's not in a terrible mood today- for now.

BTW, the surgeon's first suggestion of adding an extra dose of FiberCon at night to deal with my BR problems hurt vs. helped, so obviously I'm not taking it anymore. I haven't tried the Mirilax at night (her second suggestion) yet. I'm waiting until the middle of next week when I don't have anywhere to be JIK it also makes things worse. I will probably make things worse

I'm thinking the bigger thing to the move. Might be that you would
then have the downstairs unit. So it would be easier for you.

Do you know both the sets of tenants right now upstairs were your
at. I realize that doesn't mean they will stay but. If they are
okay right now. It might be the less of the evil either way.

You never know what you might get otherwise.

Our current upstairs neighbors are the ones I'm always b'ing about, and they're a f'ing nightmare. That's why we have to move. They're never going to change. Staying in this apartment is NOT an option as long as they are living above us. If they stay, and for some reason something goes wrong, and we can't move to the downstairs apartment, we will be looking elsewhere.

Right now, the apartment above the downstairs apartment we're looking to move into is vacant and needs to be remodeled. We have no way of knowing who will move in there, but that doesn't bother us. There's no way they can be as bad as these a/h's. We can't live on the top (3rd) floor anymore because I obviously can't walk up there, so we'll always have people living above us. We lived in our last apartment, which was on the 1st floor, for 7 1/2 years, and never had a problem with any of our upstairs neighbors, and we had many during that time because of the hefty yearly rent increases. Most of them only stayed a year.

I would still have to do the stairs if we moved into the downstairs apartment. There is a ground floor exit through the slider, but there is no lock on it, so I could only use it if Corey was home. But if I had a relapse and couldn't walk, Corey could carry me in and out that way instead of having to carry me up and down the stairs.

I'm sick of dealing with cat litter dust, so I'm going to try putting a box with a hood on it in the office and see if the kitties take to it or not. It's a huge corner box, so size will not be a problem. Cross your fingers for me that they will ALL like it and use it. I HOPE to slowly transition to all covered boxes. I ordered the new one for online pick up from PetSmart, and will swing by there today.

I'm going to go look for glasses today (at only one place), too since my prescription has changed a little. If I can't find anything I like as much or more than the ones I have now, I will just go without because I don't have the patience to go running around looking for new ones when I like the ones I have.

The pest control guys want everything pulled away from the walls before they come, but there's a ton of s- that won't fit in the closet leaning up against them. I had most of it in the closet, but Corey went digging around in there looking for something stupid, and when he was done, he couldn't fit nearly as much back in there. So, I'm going to try starting to rearrange things so that they fit better when I get home this afternoon. I have tomorrow to do it, too tho.
And we have a bunch of s- that needs to be thrown out that I've been forever asking Corey to take care of. I've been trying to convince him that this is a good opportunity to do it since we will be moving soon anyway, but so far, he hasn't done anything. There's some s- I can throw out myself, and I'll do that before I head out today, or maybe tomorrow.

Our kitchen sink is clogged, and the BR sink is draining slowly. I guess I'll find out if there's a problem with the tub drain when I get into the shower. I'll have to call the office to have maintenance come take a look at it, but I have to clean the BR first. Corey shaved and got little hairs all over the sink as usual.

So, I think I have a full day ahead of me.

I can't just buy glasses online because I have a little face and everything's WAY too big on me. It's REALLY hard for me to find ones that fit.
I ended up going to 2 different places, and did find a pair I liked enough to buy at the second one. They'll be ready in 7-10 days. In the meantime, I will worry that I made a poor decision until I see them again lol.

The new cat box is the same as the one I have in the kitchen except it has a lid on it, but boy, it's HUGE!!! I haven't put it out yet because I don't want to deal with the other box. So, I don't know what the kitties will do with it yet. I'll get around to switching the boxes out today and I guess I will find out.

Janet called me yesterday to tell me that the pest control people are coming Thursday instead of Wednesday!!! Corey already asked for Wednesday off to help me, and I had already made the vet appointment, so I freaked out...
Corey was PO'ed, but fortunately he was able to change his day off. I had to cancel the vet appointment because they couldn't accommodate us Thursday, but I called around A LOT, and finally found one who could take us at 3. Now hopefully they don't change the TIME on us.

I was so caught up in that mess that I forgot to tell Janet about the sink!
I had to call her back when I remembered (sometime after 3) to tell her about it. It was late in the day, so nobody ended up coming out to fix it. It's not the end of the world, so that's okay.

I'm getting my nails done this morning. Usually I look forward to it, but for some reason, I'm really not into it today. But I have an appointment, and my nails need to be done, so I will go. I'm sure I'll be happy I went when I see Judy.

I will work on the closet and throwing some s- out when I get home because I never got around to doing any of that yesterday. And I guess I have an extra day to get things done now

I think I need to make a to-do list to keep me on track, so I'm not running around like an a/h and getting myself all worked up.

I forgot to take my pills yesterday morning, so I felt all f'ed up while I was out getting my nails done. I had planned on going to the butcher shop afterwards, but I didn't think it was safe to drive there and back home after. I took my pills when I got home even tho it was after noontime.

I was ready to take a nap when I got home, but I had to stay awake to wait for the mailman to deliver the cat food I ordered. So, in the meantime, I switched out the cat box, and took a couple of trips to the dumpster (in my car) to get rid of any s- I could carry so I could straighten things out in the office. It made a BIG difference! I was able to put a lot more things in the closet, so we don't have all that s- just hanging out in the room. It will make things much easier when we have to move everything away from the walls when pest control comes tomorrow. And it's good to get rid of s- before you move.

Then I slept for over 4 hours.

Yesterday it looked like the kitties were just playing around in the new cat box because I didn't see any poop or pee in there, but this morning I can see that at least Dottie has gone to the BR in there (she pees a lot up against the front of the box). I hope that when I clean out the boxes later I find more presents- from all of them... I really want to cover all the boxes, but I know it will be an adjustment for them.

Today I will take that trip to the butcher shop. It's a PITA going there, but the one close to me is unacceptable. And I need to vacuum in the office. I just did it, but the cats kick out soooooo much litter. I will try to move some things away from the wall so I can get the vacuum in there, but I don't know how much of what's left I can move myself, or how far.

I'm still having problems dealing with the bed bug situation. I still feel like I have lice and I keep searching for creepy crawlies with a flash light, and it's driving Corey crazy. Having to move all the furniture and take the kitties out of the apartment is a PITA for sure, but I REALLY can't wait until pest control comes in and sprays. Hopefully it will put all that anxiety and neurosis to rest
