Love that you saw the deer's. That is much better than the guy
I'm hoping it continues to be the deer's. Glad you like your hair and glad your nails are getting done today. Donna :grouphug: |
I have been busy!
I was dragging a- on Tuesday, so I wasn't able to get a coffee on my way to get my nails done :( I decided on periwinkle blue this time. Unusual for me, but they look beautiful, and I've gotten lots of compliments on them. While I was there, an elderly lady with slight dementia said something REALLY nasty to me (re: MS). She seemed to realize how bad what she said was immediately after she said it, and wouldn't let it go, which made it worse. Obviously, I understand she has dementia, but it was still very upsetting. Everyone felt badly for me. Anyway, I went and got my car inspected after that, bought cigarettes in NH, and went to CVS. Then I went to the apartment leasing office... I told the manager that I was upset and disappointed because I had called about issues with the apartment 2 weeks ago, nobody from mgmt. or maintenance had contacted me since, and I think I had been more than patient. Apparently, they did schedule a visit from pest control on the 29th, but nobody bothered to contact us. And the grill on our patio belongs to our neighbors (we'll have to work that issue out later). I told him that he needs to speak to whoever "cleaned" the apartment because they left it such a f'ing mess. I also told him about the guy hanging out on the patio. He thought about it for a long time, and said that none of the people living in our building matched that description, and he wants me to call the police if he's hanging around our patio again. I was going to do that anyway. I spent longer than I wanted to there, and had to drop off the ice cream I bought before heading out to a doctor's appointment. I spent so long there, then waiting to getting blood drawn, that I didn't get a nap in. I had an appointment yesterday morning, and wasn't able to get a coffee beforehand again. I hate that. I wasn't quite as busy, but I spent some time running around. Corey really wanted Apple AirPods badly, and I had to go to a couple of stores to find them. He was so excited that they were here when he got home, and that I was able to get him the new ones because they were released the day before. He was like a little kid on Christmas. I like seeing him happy like that :) Then I slept for almost 4 hours. I'm going to play the lottery today, but I refuse to go anywhere else. I feel like all I've done is run around for weeks. I need rest. |
You do need to rest.
But you are juggling so much on your plate. (((((HUGS))))) glad corey like the gift...don't know what that is though. lol I am not very techno savvy! bizi |
Yeah... I guess he can listen to music wirelessly with the AirPods, but by law you can't have them both in while you're driving. He said he wants to put one in so he can answer his work phone hands-free. I don't know what else you can do with them, or how they work at all. I guess there's other stuff. He can play with them. I'm not interested in them.
I called the drug company and gave a poor girl I got transferred to an earful about not getting my Tysabri (MS med) treatments. In the end, she got all the s- together, made some calls, and I'm scheduled to restart them on April 5th :) |

That is a good day to start them. I will be 61 that day. Donna :grouphug::hug: |

I'm very happy that I will be getting Tysabri treatments again because I've had a couple of relapses since I haven't been getting them, and they are supposed to prevent/reduce those. I have to have a blood draw while I'm there, and an MRI of my brain sometime soon because I think I'm due.
I found out I got another win! I can never get an appointment with my PCP, so I have to see the NP instead. They started charging me for specialist visits to see her, which is $30 extra each visit. When I first contacted my insurance company, and they looked into it, they said that I was being charged correctly. That's TOTAL BS, so I appealed verbally and in writing, and I found out yesterday that I won my appeal, and I don't have to pay the $120 extra they charged me, and shouldn't be billed that extra $30 in the future :) I mostly sat on my a- yesterday, but I did stay awake long enough to dust and run the vacuum in the living room and the hallway going into the bedrooms and bathroom because strangers will be in here to spray for ants. I got my a- in the shower before heading out to play the lottery, then I slept for 3 1/2 hours. Very hard to get up again. I had a very early appointment at 7:30 this morning. I didn't bother showering, and I managed to leave early enough to get a coffee, but I hit terrible traffic. I can't believe I made it there in time. I was only supposed to be there for 1/2 hour, but I didn't get home until almost 9:30 even tho the traffic on the way home was light. I tried to swear off grocery shopping on Saturdays, but it's supposed to rain today, and I want to stay in. We have enough food, so F- IT!!! I don't know when pest control is coming, or what I have to do with the cats... I don't want to lock the kitties away for too long, and I really just want to go back to bed and/or take a shower. I will call the office and ask. |
