I called the office, and the manager said that the pest control guy usually comes by between 12-1pm. He arrived just after noon, and was gone a few minutes later.

I skipped my shower, left several other things undone, and went right back bed for another 5 hours after he left

Corey is working a half day today. And I'm supposed to Skype with a friend in a couple of hours. I'll go grocery shopping after all of that, but I barely have anything on my list right now. I usually start out by planning dinners for the week, but I haven't done that yet. I'm sick of the same old s- I make.

I have to get my a- in the shower. I don't want to, but I feel gross. I'm trying to convince myself I'll feel better afterwards, but I'm still resisting. I have to do it before I Skype, or I'll be food shopping at midnight.

I just went outside to smoke a cigarette and I saw 3 Blue Jays in the woods. They were such a bright colored blue! They were absolutely beautiful! :)

I forgot to tell you that Corey saw a Cardinal the other day, and took a picture of it. I saw it in person myself yesterday... so pretty! :)

I guess there are a lot of people who may not want an apartment that faces the woods, but we are definitely enjoying our view, and I think it will get even better once Spring comes :)

yep We lived in an apartment that faced the woods.

We enjoyed that a lot.
Glad to hear that you will skype with a friend!!!!!!
That is awesome!!!!!

We have birds too.

I like sharing the world with them.

We have ducks, burrowing owls (owls that live in a colony under the ground),
and high overhead we have Herons.

Kay,

Cardinals and Blue Jays are fun to watch because they have such strong
colors.:D

All my live I have felt that birds bring good luck -- I don't know how
I got that into my head.

I know that if a bird poops on you it's supposed to be good luck! lol

It was 63 degrees out yesterday, and it will be in the low 60's again today, but it's supposed to rain in the afternoon. We have been getting some mild temps here and there lately, but it will be in the low 40's tomorrow.
I can see some bright green patches of grass (?) in the woods already. I think Spring is finally coming :)

Rocky has become my new BFF since I started giving him his pills. I give them to him in Greenie's pill pockets, and they must taste great, because he gets very excited when it's time to take them. He's been all over me this morning. I love it :)

I Skyped with my friend for about 2 hours yesterday. Corey came home as our session was drawing to a close. She has never met him, but I had him come into the office so she could. I haven't heard from her since, but I'm sure she'll tell me how handsome he is :)

I was ready for a nap vs. going grocery shopping, but I was afraid I would sleep too long, and end up having to go to the store really late. So, I dragged myself through it and never got my nap. I was really, really tired, and my legs were really, really hurting, so I was f'ing grouchy afterwards.

We have to do laundry today. Never look forward to doing that. We have a lot because we skipped a week AGAIN. I slept for 6 hours instead, but we can't keep doing that. Corey will want to drive. He's only been able to drive it twice.

He's still asleep. I don't know yet when I'll wake him up. He will expect me to make him breakfast, but he was an a/h last night, so he can have cereal or throw some waffles in the toaster. I will NOT reward bad behavior.

Will he remember being an A/h last night?

I know its too late. But thought for next time,
Kay, when he is like that and wants you to cook.

Tell him its cereal, or he can take the two of you out
to eat before doing the laundry. Or after which ever
he prefers.

But that laundry is required.

Corey said he didn't remember saying what he said. I told him that maybe if he keeps it in his sober mind that it's unacceptable to speak to his wife like that, he'll stop treating me like this when he's drunk...
This has been going on for f'ing years (we've been together for 15yrs). I'm speaking up like this now and not fighting with him, or just letting it go, because I'm sober, much more stable, and in a healthier place. I can't address the years of abuse without starting a HUGE fight. I can't change it anyway. I can just try to make my current situation better.

The first two times Corey drove the new car, it was almost entirely on the highway. He drove to the laundromat yesterday. He has no idea how to drive it on regular streets. He's awful with both the gas pedal and breaks. He needs more practice. It was awful. I feel bad for the car lol.

We did laundry. He was not in a good mood. So, that was not fun. It really doesn't take THAT long. It's just a PITA. I have to put the clothes away today, and try not to let the socks and underwear sit around forever.

I have nowhere to be until Wednesday, when I have a pdoc appointment. It's a relief. I may have to pick up some scripts, but that's no big deal. I can do that at my own convenience. I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere today. When I went outside this morning, it was very cold, and very windy.

My naps have been running longer lately, and it's been harder to get up. So, for this week, I decided to make some things that can be made during the day, and can just be heated up when I wake up, or Corey can put in the oven while I'm sleeping. We'll see how that works out. Hopefully well, because I've been tired of eating the same old s-.
