mymorgy 03-03-2020 08:47 AM

i am also prediabetic and licorice has sugar. I also don't know how much anise is in it but I doubt much.

Bobby

I'm not sure what you need to do for pre-diabetic. But realize that even with diabetes you can have some sugar. It needs to be watched.

I just watch what I eat is all

my doctor just called and said my sugar is higher so he is raising the metformin to 1000.I saw him yesterday. I went to the vet's and he charged me only 25 dollars. Robert said that he told him he used to work at another place but couldn't stand their charging so much and doing extra tests that were not necessary. I had some chinese food and then felt so rotten again. I was nauseated, stomach cramps and feeling like I had to go and couldn't. I went to bed at 3 p.m and a phone call woke me up. Then was able to back to sleep still feeling so rotten.
this morning I ordered food which included breads. Then I got the call from the doctor about my sugar. rats .

Sorry about the sugar news. My husband has diabetes in his family So he worries a lot about me. I'm not really really fat, but I am several pounds overweight clinically, with significant abdominal fat. And I'm pretty sedentary... what was my point? Oh, hubby wants me to get all these levels checked, but I need to fast for that. Our doctor was very far, but now he's a bit closer, but I've already got an appointment coming soon with other blood tests needed, So in gonna have to make a new appointment a d I'm just procrastinating.

Hope your tummy is feeling better today!

Edit: oh, why is your thread titled "out of control"? Just curious.

mymorgy 03-05-2020 06:52 PM

with my bipolar I feel that I am always out of control. I still do thinks I should do.
I just started eating break again because I thought it would help my stomach. Now that I got the news of the a1c I should throw it out but I can't.
bobby
i just order some bitter melon for my diabetes

Mari 03-06-2020 02:16 AM

Bobby,

If you like anise, you can add it to chicken soup or other soups.
Good luck with the bitter melon.
