'Nice to hear about Abby and Pudge.

And that you can listen to music.

I wish you good days.

thanks so much. stayed up all night and played with Abby and Pudge and finished the book I started last night. Still no stomach ache. IBS really has no cure but stress makes it worse. It is so hard to avoid in these times and it really makes bipolar much worse. Later I will try to read another book by Elizabeth Mansfied. I have been reading a lot of her books and have at least 5 more.

Hi, Bobby! I'm so glad you're able to enjoy your furry babies again. They probably knew you weren't feeling well. Animals understand a lot of things. And it's wonderful to hear how much you're enjoying your books! Good reading is a special kind of nutrition. And it can be like medicine. Also music can be like that. Loving wishes coming your way!

thanks so much. rats the stomach ache is back. I think I am going to have some lemon and water. I think it was very dumb that I stayed up all night. The book was really fun along with playing with the kitties.

There’s also evidence that people with IBS tend to suffer from mood disorders such as depression or anxiety. “There is a high overlap between the two,” says Jeffrey Baumgardner, MD, a gastroenterologist and assistant professor of medicine at the University of California in San Francisco. “A significant number of people with IBS also have a history of some kind of abuse —emotional, physical, or sexual.”

Though he isn’t sure why, Dr. Baumgardner does think that IBS has something to do with how people process stress.

Very interesting Bobby. All that makes sense to me. Good luck with your stomach ache! I know how that can be. Hugs & love, WL

I just had the lemon and water and am making ginger tea.

Ginger is a potent digestive aid that has been used to alleviate gas, bloating and stomach pains for centuries. It naturally stimulates the body's digestive enzymes, and is an anti-inflammatory, helping to relieve inflammation and protect the stomach lining.
I think i have some ginger supplements somewhere.

yes, interesting, Bobby.

kinda related- is "anxiety" a mood disorder or even a mood? I thought it was an "anxiety disorder"...I get confused by this stuff.

I'm curious to maybe find out in therapy if I had some sort of emotional trauma growing up to have gotten IBS...because I can't think of any physical or sexual. where else would this crap come from?? (ha! no pun intended ) Really hard to sort out which came first for me, IBS or anxiety, or both! hmm...

I am obsessing about my new therapist who is an optimist. I am already really angry at him. He sent me a joke to make me happy about robert klein doing a joke on a colonoscopy. It got me sad and angry. the therapist might be a f@#king a#$shole. I don't think he gets it and I don't know what to do.
at this stage I don't know if anybody can help me. we are having a session at 11 am today I also have gad so I am already worried about what if I get the virus, what will happen to my cats. I am worried about filling out my new lease. I worried so much when I couldn't find the remote to my ac. I worry that I am going to have constant stomach aches and discomfort from being isolated and all the stress and doing dumb things. I should have never stayed up all night to read a book.
I did feel good when I heard this morning that the latest poll said Biden was ahead by 11 points. I worry so much about this nation.
My former friend hasn't called to apologize and I am positive she won't. I used to speak to hear almost every day. Now I hardly speak to anyone except Marci who comes on Monday and Tuesday for four hours.
My birthday is on Saturday and for years Alice would take me out to dinner.
