Befuddled

I'm so sorry that his relative's didn't think to get more of his things
out of the apartment before the relative's got there. It was there's
to take really. They were the one's related to him.

I'm glad to see you on and know that you are okay physically though.

I was wondering the same - his father could have taken the important things, but maybe he wasn't able to deal with it all at the time and just left it for the roommate??

Thanks Donna and Jo,

Jo, I think you hit the hammer on the head. Doug's dad lives about 40 miles away and is in very bad shape so there wasn't much he could do except get a few things. Doug's dad did tell me to take whatever else I wanted besides the T.V. but I thought that Doug's roommate would stay there and need the stuff. Little did I know Doug's roommate would not pay the bills and then sell everything before he skips town.
