'Saw hypnotherapist today.
I think she finally gets the sleep issue.

I told her that I have so much anxiety about sleep that I am fighting panic all evening as the bed time gets closer. Eventually I have to use the force of my will to stare down the panic and get in bed. This morning it was 5:00 am when I was able to do that. I was asleep in about 15 minutes.

I am sleep deprived right now and evey moment of every day.

Hi Nikko,

Thank you for asking. I am having trouble with a Section 8 apartment manager not letting me apply for an apartment because these apartments do not want mentally disabled people there. My mom went through the same thing when she applied there and my brother told them he's get a lawyer and they gave in. However this manager is stubborn so 1st thing Monday I will call Legal Aid.

Mari, I too have the anxiety at night and a lot of times I just go ahead and stay up until 5 or 6 in the morning because then it seems more manageable. I have Klnopin that will help but not without the hangover the next day.

Hello. Today was my eldest's 9th birthday! We had a small family party here. Kids are just getting into bed now. Things are pretty much the same as they were last time I posted except that I don't feel so anxious at the moment.

Mari, that is horrible to be that sleep-deprived. Your days/nights get mixed up, too. {{HUGS}}

Sleep issues - ask your p-doc's for Trazadone, it really works for me, although I still wake up during the night, that is just me, I go back to sleep, too much on my mind.

I have tried many sleep meds, and Trazadone was the only good one.

Hugs, Nikko

Default Saturday night report

Saw accuputurist. She helps with anxiety.

Then came home to rest but ended up running around in the evening with a friend looking for a new sofa.

In one of the furniture stores I bought an electric candle (allergies to the other kind) to practice a focusing exercise from the hypnotherapist. She wants me to stare at the flame and then close my eyes and still see the flame with my eyes closed. I made a teeny tiny bit of progess. I have two weeks until I see her again. This is supposed to help me get into deeper hynosis when I see her. But I think it is also a calming/releasing exericse because I feel calmer.

Saturday I watched a movie, then went to the pool for the afternoon.

Today my neighbor/friend is going to switch the tires for me this morning.

That is a relief!!!!!!

Not sure what I will do today, it's early 7am, so not sure how the weather will turn out.
I need to be ready for tomorrow, and I am, just need to get everything together in a folder.

My clothes are ready, my mom's car will be all set hopefully. Then to sit around until time to go tomorrow will be nerve wracking.

Sunday is football day too, I love the Miami Dolphins, even though they aren't doing well at all.

Hugs, Nikko

Hi, friends! I see that you're all still hanging here. Do you know that the original Braintalk Forums are up and running again? Once I saw that was the case, I thought that everybody would jump back over there, but I guess not. It's hard to go to both forums all the time, what are your thoughts on this issue?

Personally, I usually don't have much time to go on any forums, but being as how I was already sittin' at the 'puter, I thought I'd take a peek!

It's a beautiful week-end, and I am going to make sure that my hub and I take Kaya (our one remaining dog) for a walk today, despite all of my fatigue, aches, and pains, from my anemia. Tomorrow I see my oncologist to hear what his plans are to help me out. My nephrologist is going to start me on Procrit - getting it delivered to my home this week - on ice - they are injectible vials.

Well, gotta run, Will see you around!

Hugs to the room, Jacquie - my name on other BT forum is Smiling Angel
