Unhappy

Oh Mari, that sounds so upsetting for you.
I am sorry.
Have you been able to talk to him about all of this?

Hi, Bizi,

We did talk a few days later about how he got upset because I was upset and how unhelpful I found that. Then we agreed to try to continue to help each other and stay calm even though one or the other of us is worked up.

I have hope.

Default update

Today a colleague called me at home about a work crisis that I needed to handle.

He left a message at 10:30 and said "Call me back when you wake up." Then he laughed loudly and hysterically into the phone like he enjoyed his joke.

I called him back at 3:00 and spent until 5:00 solving the problem.

I feel good that I not only solved the problem but straightened out a few knuckle heads.
I made it clear that I am in charge of certain things and people don't get to mess around. So there.

Not everything has to get done early in the morning.
I rock.
Some of us late risers have what it takes.

Mari

PS
And we can do this in the midst of brain fog and while wearing pajamas.
