Meg

Just keep talking here. Maybe look for a support group in your area.

I totally can relate, even being married for so long. At times I think
I'm not married.

Talked to him today and we agreed to have a 'hiatus' to get oru own lives in order and revisit the relationship situation in a while. I feel alone, but some wonderful people have sent me e-hugs which is nice, but I really need a real hug. I had such a hard time not crying at work and I did cry in my car on break.

I wish I had someone's house to go to. I feel so claustrophic at home. The snow isnt helping anything

I have been struggling with alcohol for a while...I broke my ankle last July and while I was out of work, I just drank and drank, and then one of the 2 jobs I had at the time offered me a full time position with benefits....downside: that job is working at a liquor store.

i am currently fighting the urge to get black out drunk to try to feel better even though every time I do I always feel worse.

I can totally relate to the leg incident and it causing problems.

Last April I had a compound fracture in two bones in my foot.
So I was laid up most of the summer and spring.

Dear Meg,
Here is a link to SMART recovery.
IT is a site for people like me who want to quit drinking or using and get our lives straightened out. There is a chat room there 24/7 so you can always go there and get support. I go there in the evenings I am bizi there as well.
YOu do need to register. I would highly reccomend joining there.
The chat room is great.
I recently bought their hand book and am working some of the tools they give you guidance.
It has meetings like AA but not religious nor dogmatic.
I think you will like it.

checking in:
boyfriend and I have decided we need some space in order to get ourselves right for us to work as a unit. i dont know how I feel about it, I just hope he actually does something cuz he talks a big game but his actions never really follow through.

My bone injuries have been acting up with the drastic temperature change and Ive noticed I havent really been eating. I also havent had a full nights sleep since the beginning of the year and its taking its toll. I go to bed at the same time every night and try to wake up at the same time, but I keep waking up earlier and earlier (and my new puppy loves it cuz she thinks were going out for a walk at 5am)

I am so exhausted in so many ways. Theres nothing I can do to feel caught up. Im just looking for a real hug and no one in my life has offered me one.
