Also If you don't want to smoke it and besides all the different ways to eat it, you can use a vaporizer. It kinda steams it and the vapors go into a balloon, then you inhale the vapors.
You can go on youtube and see videos of them

In many states that allow MJ they do not allow you to smoke it. They have criteria as to what to do for that as well.

Diandra, I just wanted to say my therapist tells me I have PTSD. I think of it more like Im insane with pain. Brain thinking non stop. The depression stress anxiety all goes along with this. I relive the hospital stay, surgery, the surgeon just blowing me off. I had seizures for over 72 days. I think we all have some form of PTSD . I know I have OCD . I set a timer on my oven to keep me on task because If I have an appointment it takes a long time to get ready, make sure you have everything. thinking about the car drive, count to make sure I have my keys. The fear of the pain . Crying almost every day for over 5 yrs. Yep PTSD can effect us. We have the worst pain in the world, Im sad, im neausous, im full of anxiety cuz every day I think...omg what is this pain. It took me years to experiment with ALL the crap..that didnt work or made me brainless, studdering and I think the traditional drugs made me even more depressed.
Only I know what works best for my brain and body. Its a shame it isnt our choice.
Im in CA. they deliver my order to my door.

The government just admitted that cannabis cures cancer. I just googled those words and sure enough. It's the CBD in the plant that has worked wonders on many different kinds of conditions.

shelbie,
I am so sorry for what you have endured. It certainly is anxiety producing to have unrelenting pain with no diagnosis. Did the surgery bring on the pain or were you having surgery to relieve pain? There are many folks here experienced with causes and relief for pain if you want to tell your story but I understand sometimes it it to stressful to recall it.

At least the medical MJ helps. If it is delivered to your door, I may just have to move to CA!

Your are in my thoughts and prayers,
Diandra

I read as I cry
Your story like many of us
It is 5 years myself in indescribable pain
that I swear I swear I questioned myself
tested myself and I am not imagining things
At one point I wish it was but IT isn't
So right there with you

Love
Me

YET,
When I asked my pain doc if I could try it, he said he can only script it for the conditions Allowed in the bill.(see below). My doc apologized and suggested I contact my senators asking them to get chronic pain added to the list. Honestly, it would be easier to get illegally.

Do any of you live in a state where it IS allowed for chronic pain?

Thanks, wishing you all a low pain day.
D.

QUALIFYING CONDITIONS
Cachexia
Cancer
Crohn's disease
Epilepsy
Glaucoma
HIV or AIDS
Intractable spasticity
Multiple Sclerosis
Parkinson's Disease
Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Other medical conditions may be approved by the Department of Consumer Protection
I live in CT and the law says that it is not allowed for chronic pain. However, I spoke to a dr who does certification and there is a way around it. He told me to go to a neurologist and get an MRI of my skull. If nothing shows, then I have a negative diagnosis, which is fine. Then I need to go to an ENT to rule out a sinus issue. Once all this is done, he should be able to certify me.

Hi Sonia,
Would you mind PMing me(private message) with the name of the doc who can certify and what town? I do have to say, kind of alot of hoops to jump through to get medical MJ( neurologist, MRI, then maybe ENT...geez!).

Thanks for the info, at least good to know there is a way, no matter how convoluted.
Thanks for sharing,
Diandra
