Judy,
Thank you so much ![]() ![]() You are so right about the thoughtless people who ask thoughtless questions or say stupid things.... most of the time I let it go and don't let it bother me, but every once I will hear a particularly hurtful comment/question and those really hurt and sting. The thing that made me smile so muvh about your post was when you said I do have kids - who are 7, 4, and 1..... and the reason it made me smile so much is because the 3 cats have such different personalities and the way they interact with each other and with us is soooo similar to the way children act. If anyone comes to visit all they have to do is watch the 3 of them for a few minutes and it becomes very clear who is the oldest, who is the middle, and who is the baby. Even in the feline world, 'siblings' have a sibling dynamic between each other. ![]() Liz

I am not a social butterfly on this forum or in real life, but I do read those threads now and then.
![]() I like animals, nature, and I garden alot. I offer support for medical issues, medications, and supplements/nutrition when people ask. I love music, read alot and am also an artist. I can help interpret medical jargon and answer some medical questions. I am typically a "grandmother" in age, so I can be a stodge at times! ![]()

Hi Jennifer,
I just wanted to say hello and I look forward to chatting to you. I do not know much about Hydro but I am a big Tom Brady/New England fan. Everyone here is so amazing, I am a fairly new member and am still meeting new people here. Welcome! |

Hi Jennifer ....
One thing to consider is getting involved with a group that is about something you are simply interested in, rather than one that defines you by a diagnsis. One of my friends has so much fun with others who love cats. Some groups are for those who like to keep a particular type of fish, those who are enthusiasts for dogs or who just love their pets. Or a group of people who like the same TV shows or music or movies or celebrities. Or travel - in you are interested in a particular country or area of the world. Or hobby - cross-stitch or other needlework, making various kinds of crafted items, or so many other types of hobbie. Many school/academic clubs that have online versions. The internet has groups of people for every interest. And when you need support and validation for issues related to your neurological problems, the larger a particular group, the more likely you are to bump into someone who has things in common with you -the basis for a friendship- and who has the need for and time for an online friendship. If you lurk on the friendship chat topic forum, you can meet others who are looking for connections and friendships, and who will be sympathetic to your particular neurological issues. But I will assure you that this is a very friendly community, and when you need support and validation, you will receive it... Teri
