Now wasn't that nice to hear all of the thoughts and opinions on this subject of talking.

That is all it was, really.

Not a warning but a remark that we can get too carried away with our own problems and overlook the problems of others whom we talk to.

Just a sharing of opinions on a subject that I care about.

If this group of postings does anything I am sure it will encourage and not derail anyone from saying and being heard on this forum.

So if you are new here and want to join in please do and I guarantee you that the responses you see will be courteous and respectfull and illuminating for you and for us as well.

Please post as I would like to meet you.

Thelma............usually in Parkinsons or Als forums as well as the major nusiance here................I hope not

Dear Thema, sometimes I think you're a stirrer. ;)
I mean that in a nice way, (I'm not being mean), but a stirrer nonetheless. LOL

I don't think we really got to the seat of your concerns as posted in your original message, but I guess that's OK with you now. I mean, how many people go posting about b12 or vitamins and minerals around here? It's not like the message was addressed to _all_ of us. I also don't think the majority of people forget to be courteous and respectful to others nor do I think that they forget who they're talking to when they post.

I wish it was as easy to report advertisments for drugs and alcohol and many other things that are shown on tv or in magazines, AND that also goes for the Internet and health news, as it is to report a post here. If you have any specific worries, it's maybe best sometimes to just report the post and then the mods. can evaluate your concerns.

I always loved that signature file or profile that moose/barb always had (or maybe still has). Not sure now. Said something like ... from earth, where people are kind and care about each other. I know those words aren't totally correct, but that's what I remember.

take care,

( or was..i'll have to go check)

It wasn't about b12 or any other subject save the one I thought all would see.

That was just this.

We need to not allow our own opinions to influence what we feel the person on the other side of the screen is thinking.

I think the postings here may indicate now that we all have to come to grips and not jump the gun on anyone till they say themselves clearly what which they are hope to convey.

I had many interpretations of what I was trying to say and not one really got it completely.

Am I a stirrer, well ya I am in a way. You got that right lol

OK, I'm really confused now. See Thelma, when you wrote your first messages, this is the part that stood out to _me_.

Advice on mineral or nutrients or even the most one seen here B12 are a no no
Now call me a silly duffer if you like, Thelma. I call myself that often lately, but see that's what I thought you meant so that's what I answered to.

My mind doesn't understand riddles as well as it used to unfortunately.

huh?

Stirrer? That is a nice way of putting it, Lara. I would have said something else.

I guess the "stirrer" holds the spoon... as well.

I think we need a new forum for you Thelma. We could call it The Curmudgeon's Corner. You could stir up alot that way! LOL:p

Lara 11-08-2006 04:41 PM

I don't understand what that saying means, Alffe? "I've got your back"
I hope it doesn't mean what I think it means LOL. eeek No one is attacking Thelma. I thought we were just having a friendly confusing discussion.
