This 'old' dentist office that I was going to... uses the exact type of filling you said NOT to get!!!
And when I politely said I need to cancel my appointment and said that via 'strict orders from my physician' to NOT use ANYthing that has 'mercury' in it......she defensively stated "WELL.....I spose he told you not to eat any FISH!!" gotta luv it.

She muttered something to the effect that
'the minute amount of mercury that could escape wouldn't warrant health problems.....'

When she asked 'why', I gave her a quick speal regarding my 5 yr battle with peripheral neuropathy, of which neurotoxins are known culprits.....
well, that sent her out into left field so she didn't pursue any further explanation.........

In 2 wks I will be going to an UP-TO-DATE dentist who uses non-toxic material.

I will get in ANYbody's face who is 'ignorant' of PN and how horribly it has ripped me off of over 5 years of my life......my kids NEEDED me the MOST during this god-aweful nightmare!! I have ZERO tolerance to anybody trying to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about!! I've LIVED the nightmare!!!
I should say that 'warrants' me with the credentials necessary to be 'picky' as to WHERE I get medical/dental treatment!

Thank you and good day
What would I have done without this forum
Thank you Bryanna
