These past 2 weeks have been something else. First it all started with an ER visit for my fiancé. His back. His pain was so bad he was crying and saying he was going to call 911 to help him get to the hospital. This is so NOT him. He is more like "I am man hear me roar!" type. Second we got evicted our rooms at his parents house. Yes his parents kicked us out. Just to show us they have the upper hand. But I agreed it was time for us to move. I was tired of all the fighting. So the rest of that week all the moving was on me since my poor love was out with his back. Saturday we moved into my grandpas house. Now my grandpa has been bed bound for over a yr and his health was declining. He had Alzheimer's. at this point he hasn't ate nor drank anything for a week and few days. Now comes Sunday. We get my organized at our new home plus we deal with my grandpa not doing well. At 5:11 p.m. My grandpa took his last breath. The whole experience was so beautiful! Since then it's been funeral planning and burial.
I am sad he is gone but I know he is better off in heaven! I felt strong threw all of this these past 2 weeks but now I find myself down and downer. I think it is bc things are settling down and I have time to soak this all in. Plus it doesn't help that I'm living in my grandpas house. It's like I'm just waiting for my moment for a huge breakdown but it hasn't came yet.? Anyways that's my venting. Thank you for reading my problems. lol. Today makes a week since my grandpas passing. |

You have had a traumatic couple of weeks. Give yourself time to soak it in. I am sorry about your grandpa too. Grief takes many forms Ashley and there is no right or wrong way to feel. Just go day by day. Anytime a human has alot on their plate in a short amout of time, it does cause some anxiety or strange feelings. Glad you came on NT. Just being here will help you. In time things will be alot smoother, and your grief will fade. I wish you all the best. ginnie
