Unhappy Hey!

Where the heck is everyone hiding?

CPGal?
ResqGal?
Giggles?
Everyone else?

Our "Singing" lady opened the door, but nobody save a precious few (and you're ALL precious to me) have decided to come in...

THAT's a depressing situation, for sure... my Celexa is working overtime, but it sure needs your help, friends...

Hey, ((((((Gene)))))),

You've found your way back --!!

I'm fighting the BIG D again myself. Took much KRAP in my life at one time.

Went to a new shrinker. All I wanted was for her to give me Prozac in addition to the Effexor XR that I take. I've gotten the dosage on the Effexor XR **PERFECT** for my fibromyalgia and my compressed spinal cord in my neck and my numb fingies and toes -- didn't want to touch that dosage AT ALL. Of course, you know, never can do what the patient wants So she upped the dosage and screwed everything up. Not sleeping good. Pain is back -- both lower spine and fibro.

I missed my last appointment with her -- bad transportation arrangements. I'm gonna have to INSIST that she cut the Effexor XR and give me the Prozac. I already know you can take both of them at one time 'cause I was in a clinical trial for both Prozac and Cymbalta (same thing as Effexor XR). I probably took Prozac longer than she's been a doctor.

How've you been doing?? I've been SO ANGRY about BT being unavailable.

I had to close my eBay store and go over to Amazon 'cause eBay wouldn't stop futzing with the software. I just sold a book as a matter of fact  I've also opened an on-line store. So far -- no sales. Still trying to get my rank up so people know I exist.

They have SCORE representatives in the Greater Boston area that will help you get a business going. I'm going to look into that. I don't want to 'fail' again.

I'm glad you found your way here. I'm sure the traffic will pick up once people here about it.

Stay in touch. Stay strong. HUGS.

Not doing so good here either. Thinking about talking to a guy who is a FF chaplain that specializes in PTSD- if I can find the time and I feel better. I am exhausted today- caught the awful cold bug that is going around. Almost every pt. in the ER has had it. Work is adding to the stress and I am sick with anxiety.

Hi all ~ I opened the door, then left the room. Sorry about that. I've been dealing with quite a few migraines lately and have just plain been feeling down the past few days.

My divorce is moving along ~ hubby and I worked terms out on our own and he thinks it could be final by the end of this month. I'm so very glad things haven't gotten nasty ~ we've had a couple of little ups and downs but nothing too bad. Still, even though I feel I've worked it out in my head quite a while ago, I suppose there are still some underlying currents about it actually ending somewhere in my head.

Hey, PB ~ are you busy with classes again?

Moose, sounds like you know what I'm talking about with the fibro. Wishing you the best with your online store!

Hello, Phyllis ~

Resq ~ hugs!!

I hope so . . . I am so tired. No one at work really understands that I am stressed out and when I tell them they act like it is no big deal. I don't know what to do. I don't even want to go to work tomorrow.

Thanks, ((((((Renee))))))

I've had the fibro for so long that I've pretty much learned how to live/function with it. The Effexor XR turned out to be "perfect" for getting it under control.

Now that my new doctor has messed with my dosages, I've started not sleeping well and sleeping weird hours -- kicks it all back up again.

BUT, I have learned that next to the Effexor XR, the **SLEEP** is the most important other factor in keeping it under control.

I just woke up from a 3 hour nap -- who the heck sleeps from 5PM to 8PM -- like I said "weird"

I understand the divorce too. It's such a shame and a waste, isn't it. I wish we were taught when we were 'young' that we need to put as much effort into choosing a partner as we do into choosing a car or a house. I can look back on my whole 'experience' now and think "what the heck was I doing?" but -- now that my EX has been gone more than 10 years (he passed in May 1996), I can think back fondly of the memories with him.

I wish you no pain and a peaceful divorce. It all gets easier. HUGS.

A hi to everyone ~

PB ~ cute new pic of you! Is that your "good" side?!

Resq ~ hang in there, try to get enough rest ~ it makes such a difference. Sending you hugs!

Moose ~ Hi! Are you getting some decent sleep? That has been one of my big problems for quite a while now. I couldn't take Effexor ~ it made me cough. Last night was another bad fibro night, up and down all night. Nothing really touches the pain so I usually don't even bother with that, just try to find some way to get some sleep now and then ~ as you said, what time of day doesn't even matter any more as long as I get some. It's hard to not be on the same time schedule as the rest of the world, though.

As far as the divorce, I suppose the toughest part is how long we were together (33 yrs). I am to the point where I can remember some good things he has done, too. For a while, all I could see was negatives ~ am glad I am past that. Thanks for the hugs and good wishes... sending them back to you.

Hi to everyone else... hope it is going well for you.

Hi, ((((((Renee)))))),

I was getting *PERFECT* sleep on the Effexor XR. One of my new doctors upped the dosage. For some reason, it doesn't work as well.

I've been sleeping really strange hours. Three hours naps at 5 or 6 PM. Fall asleep at 3AM and wake at 10AM (my cat hates that; he's finally figured if he gets in my face, I'll wake up).

It's a good thing I'm not working anymore. Otherwise, I'd be getting a pink slip

Over the 15 years that I've had fibro, I've learned that I HAVE TO sleep when I need to. Even skip meals if I have to.

I've even started dreaming about the EX. The dreams are much more pleasant now than they were at the beginning

We all do the best that we can. That's all we can do.

Hugs. Have a nice weekend.

Wink hello, and nice to see you

I posted only a couple times to this forum before, but there are so few ppl everwhere, i thought i'd say hello. You guys were very kind and welcoming to me at a time when i felt i couldn't post to the bipolar forum - for reasons which were probably blown out of proportion in my head but.... ehhhh.

i was terribly depressed between feb and june... and then ok for a bit... and (i was hoping for a little hypmania but...) now i am down again but it is partly (i THINK) a sort of slow convalescence from the depression, but also i have a ton of stressors in my life. i am moving, for one, and after almost a year of "rest" due to physical problems... i am so out of shape i get exhausted so fast. But also the move is a marker of "failure" to maintain myself, which feels horrid. i also had a break up recently, which feels horrid. i also had someone tell me awful things lately, which felt horrid. so i occasionally and unpredictably have to curl up in fetal position and cry helplessly as i feel a huge painful void inside that sucks me in.

btw, i have slept from 3 pm to 8 pm before, lol. my sleep is so screwed up, but when i feel like this - bad, stressed, anxious, or my back hurts - i have decided for now, that the best dang thing is to sleep WHEN i need it. I have the luxury(?) of not having a job - or it might be pink slip for me too, lol.

Barbara, i hope Ms. Pdoc-ess gets her act together and fixes your Effexor XR back proper. I feel for you.

Resqgirl911, boy do I ever understand stress, anxiety and their feedback loop. I had a lottt of it this last round, and right now, i have to gobble En just to avoid be paralytically overwhelmed by the packing and all else, lol. As for coworkers - yeah, they just don't get it. Normies. What do they know. Try to hang in. See if you can get a few days off. Or maybe with the cold you can get a med cert - and thus a break? (working in an ER hmmmm.... dunno, but... ?)

well, i wrote a lot more than just hello. oops. well, thanks for reading. and, again, HELLO. Also thank you for having welcomed me so warmly before. I don't believe i had expressed my appreciation at that time.

((( hugs to all )))

~ waves ~ from the bipolar forum

p.s. if any of you want to see some heart-warming pix, stop by the Bipolar Forum and check out the baby giraffe (sooo sweeet), and the laughing babies. The babies even managed to get me giggling.

~
