Default Nervous for tomorrow

Tomorrow I have therapy again. I'm so nervous! What am I going to tell her? She wanted me to write out my feelings, which I have done but I don't feel like sharing them with her because it makes me feel so uncomfortable to do so. I don't know what I'm going to do. I am just a wreak today! I can't wait to go home this weekend and get some rest!

((((((((((((( wish )))))))))))))))

I've been where you're at and felt my heart would pound out of my chest when revealing something uncomfortable, and for me feelings are always uncomfortable.

I will share this as well, I was always so proud of myself afterward and each time I learned that it was ok and the earth didn't swallow me whole, I replace the negative thoughts and feelings with a newly learned, more appropriate to the situation response. I had to do that repetively, over years, to replace all the negative. Hon, it was so worth it.

I hope the same for you. I know it's hard. I know it's harder than hard, but if you can make it through it can be so cool. Might I suggest that first you tell your therapist how much anxiety this is causing you and what your body is doing? It can way help to calm.

I hope you share how it goes.

Good luck!

KD

I am definately going to try my best tomorrow with therapy! I just have to make sure I go for a little walk before I go see my therapist. That always seems to help some! I'm still nervous but I think I'm going to be ok! I'm going to take some melatonin to help me sleep tonight so I will be all rested for tomorrow! Thanks for the support!

Me too. I came to check this thread and was hoping there was a response. Hope we catch you tomorrow and that today went much better than you could've dreamed.

Well, things did go well with my therapy session. My therapist had made me feel better and she got me to laugh again. She is so funny! The bad thing is that I still wasn't able to end therapy with her. It's just so hard to do that. I think I will just stick it out for a while. It's hard but I think it will do me some good to do so. I don't know! I went to my parents house for the weekend and I just had some fun!! I'm back at the college now and very tired!! LOL! I am ready for bed already and it's only 5pm here. What am I going to do?
