It is not unusual to have an EEG with abnormalities, or normal or with epileticform activities. I have had many EEG's, aEEG's, vEEG's throughout my entire life, and I've been "nicknamed" - Scatter-brained. Typically what a Neurologist does, keep the report on file and schedule another EEG or possibility a aEEG or maybe block you for a vEEG at a hospital depending on how frequent you are experiencing seizures.

Since 99.5% of my seizures are during the night and typically nocturnal, I usually end up with a vEEG instead.

But there are all different types of EEG's from Standard to Quantum (hope I spelled that right).
