Hi Truebliever,

Welcome to the forum! I've taken Depakote in the past and it worked well for me but after yrs. of taking the drug my body became immune to the drug.
If your daughter hasn't had a sleep study done yet you may want her to have one, I had one along with an e.e.g and e.k.g. all at the same time and my Dr. found that I was having seizures (sz.) in my sleep. This may be going on with your daughter also. I have found that keeping track of my sz. buy writing down what time of day or night I have any sz. along with the type of sz. has helped my Dr. a lot they have found a pattern in my sz. and they can now tell what days of the month I will have any sz. and it's a big help to the Dr. as well as me. Here's wishing you and your daughter only the best of luck and May God Bless the Both of You!

Sue
